A wonderful place - spotlessly clean, beautifully landscaped with lovely plants. Spacious, comfortable room - plenty of hot water for showers, good wifi and a wide terrace. Chairs and loungers around the pool and in the garden, which also has hammocks. Lounge area in the dining room looks out into the gardens - all very peaceful. The food was classic Sri Lankan - breakfast was huge and very tasty, the rice and curry was excellent - 12+ delicious small veg dishes with rice and poppadoms to accompany the curry, or there were alternative dishes along with desserts and fresh juices. Staff were really lovely, helpful and good to talk to. Some way out of town, but such a nice place we didn't want to move, and when we needed it was easy to get TukTuk to the archaeological sites, train station etc.

Overall, I had a wonderful stay with my family, and it was an amazing experience. The full area was very calm and we were so relaxed. I was surprised really about your property and how amazing place that it was located. That made my day, honestly. I had visited your city several times and stayed in numerous hotels within your property range, but I could not find another property that gave us with the services you did. The check-in process went smoothly, and the staff were nice and accommodating. My room was very clean and comfortable. The food was delicious, and everything was really clean. The food quality was so good. Some dishes were excellent. The breakfast options were extremely good, and we had, like, enjoyed a lot. I mean, everything was better than we expected in a good way. I appreciate your efforts in making our stay enjoyable, and I hope this feedback will help you improve your services. The host, Mina, is exceptionally kind. She wants all her guests to be happy, comfortable and 'well feed'!!! Her cooking is also exceptional. The accommodation is simple, in a good way. This property is one of the few hotels with a great view for the amount you spend. It has a stunning lake view and is excellent for nature lovers. There were a lot of birds in the evening, and the sunset was magnificent. There is a nice pool to relax while watching the sunset and pool beds to relax if you need. It might not be the ideal location for luxury seekers, but it is excellent for any traveller who loves nature! Comfortable rooms and wonderful breakfast. The manager and staff were really helpful, and I was happy to see a staff full of young blood! The manager said that the owners had changed recently, so hopefully, it will be even better when I visit the next time!

I had wonderful time hear for 3 days, regret I did not book longer, but had to move on. It is a hotel with 13 rooms, but it feels more like a homestay! Everyone , from the owner and his family to the staff were so friendly and helpful beyond expectations. Amazing hospitality. A place you want to go back to. Everyone seems to enjoy their work. The pools are great, taking great care of . Very clean. Thank you for a wonderful stay an help with renting bikes and bus transport. Hope to see you again😊

Superb stay, best place to stay in polonnaruwa, new rooms with balcony in perfect condition, food was very tasty. Paddy field view is mind relaxing and very calm, Rivonway is hidden gem, they were arrange everything whatever we want specially wild safari. At the morning birds & peacocks are singing arround the hotel. Very nature friendly hotel specially for tourists, small canels are going front of the property. The host is very understandable and speaking very good english. we can highly recommend for all.
