I had a wonderful stay at this private luxury cottage near Galle. Surrounded by nature, it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. The cottage was exceptionally clean, with comfortable linens and all the necessary amenities, including tea, coffee, hot water, and toiletries—all provided free of charge. The complimentary WiFi covered the entire cottage, ensuring a seamless connection. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious Sri Lankan breakfast, served in a peaceful setting with the soothing sounds of birds and stunning nature views. The location is ideal, close to popular tourist attractions such as waterfalls and monasteries. Additionally, the nearby village offers unique experiences like cinnamon peeling, hiking, and birdwatching. Overall, this cottage is a perfect blend of comfort and nature, making it an excellent choice for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommended!

The Location is very beautiful, situated in the jungle in a small village. The family was incredibly kind and made our stay feel like home. We had delicious homemade, traditional dinner and breakfast. The house is close to the entrance to Sinharaja Forest and they recommended us a great Guide who spotted lots of animals and showed us many ayurverdic healing plants. I can‘t recommend this place enough :)

The cabin is in the heart of the forest and among tea plantations. To reach the cabin you have to cross two small creeks where you can also enjoy the natural pools. The cabin is very clean with a comfortable bed, there I also an outside patio where dinner and breakfast are served. There is electricity thanks to a solar panel. Ravindra is a very kind and attentive host. He will help you with your backpacks and will bring your meals to the cabin. He also organises tour of the forest and accompany you to the forest with his tuk tuk. We asked for dinner and breakfast and both meals were very good and with large portions both prepared by Ravindra's mother. Both during the day and night you can see a lot of birds and other animals around the cabin. Definitely one of the best experiences in our trip to Sri Lanka.

We enjoyed our stay so much. The quietness, the nature, the view on the mountain from balcony. Super nice staff. We walked from hotel 2 km to sinharaya rainforest unesco heritage entrance. We were mesmerized by the nature in the rainforest and the surrounding. The hotel is a Super place.

Such a lovely hotel, everything is even more beautifull in real life than in the pictures. Everything was very clean. And the surroundings are also stunning. The hotel is very close to the Kudawa entrance of the rainforest, where you can hire an official guide for 2500 LKR (entrance is 1250 LKR pp). The overall experience was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place.

We had an amazing stay! The veranda outside the room is so beautiful and you can see lots of monkeys and birds. The room was comfortable and clean with a good shower and fan. The family were so attentive and offered us lots of delicious coffee and food throughout the day. They were also so helpful and even did laundry for us. We also loved our rainforest tour with Vini, it was very good value and we loved seeing the different animals and swimming in the waterfall.

This place is amazing. So beautifull and peacefull. The cabanas is so nice, the Porch is out of this world with nice view. Big comfortable bed. The food was amazing too. Will come back one day 🙏🏻 had a rainforrest tour arranged by the owners with their neighbour, who is a guide, and was really good as well.

Really magical place. The owners are unbelievably cute and prepared us amazing dinner and breakfast and we’re really really welcoming. The view of the room and the sitting area was stunning. It was hard to leave as they really make everything to make you feel at home. Absolutely recommendable. Booking shows the property on the map. On the point on the main road there is a little way down in the forest and that’s where the rainforest view guesthouse is. So if you arrive at night and you can’t find it straight away - just call the number in the profile and they come pick you up.
