Great accommodation with a beautiful lake view! A big shout-out to the staff, who were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and more than enough. We even had dinner at the on-site restaurant, and it was exceptional. The only minor thing is the traffic noise coming from the main street, but it’s ok if you’re not noise-sensitive.

Since there was flooding, I was in communication and ask them to change the facility to some other on the south. There were amazing and quickly did it without any problem. We had amazing time at their chain hotel in Bentota - Taru Long house. I would definitely always pick up these hotels if I would go again to Sri Lanka

What a lovely stay we had. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. Beautiful views. We had a dip in the pool in the evening and dinner on the balcony to top it off. Vijitha went out of his way to help us arrange our tickets for the train from Kandy to Ella, and drop us off at the train station. The location is perfect to get to Peradeniya Station (the stop before Kandy).

Kandy is a beautiful town with so much to see and do.

Kandy is a beautiful town with so much to see and do. It’s the perfect central base for exploring nearby highlights like Nuwara Eliya and other major sightseeing spots. The famous Kandy–Ella train ride is a wonderful experience with stunning views. Kandy Lake is lovely for an evening walk, and the local markets — especially the Sunday market — are absolutely worth visiting. The Dalada Maligawa (Temple of the Tooth) is a must-see; try to go in the evening when it’s cooler and the atmosphere is even more peaceful. Overall, Kandy is a charming town that offers culture, scenery, and convenience all in one.

Our trip around Kandy was truly memorable!

Our trip around Kandy was truly memorable! We loved visiting the Temple of the Tooth, strolling around the peaceful lake, and exploring the vibrant local markets. The botanical gardens were stunning, and everything was easy to reach from the train station. Great food, kind people, and beautiful scenery all around.

People advised us to have 2 days in Kandy - we would have...

People advised us to have 2 days in Kandy - we would have been fine with just one. The weather did not help us it rained on and off the entire time we were there. Temple of the Sacred Tooth - tick - walk around the Botanical gardens - tick - Shopping DISMAL - Kandyan dance performance extremely touristy. I wish we had allocated an extra day for the hill country instead of Kandy, Best meal we had was at the Hideaway Lounge. Central market - awful fresh food and spices but seriously hideous tourist souvenirs. Old building needs renovation.

Kandy is an interesting historic city, with a number of must...

Kandy is an interesting historic city, with a number of must see sights - the Temple of The tooth, a walk around the lake, the Big Buddha. Peradeniya Botanical Gardens are just on the edge of the city. The market is bustling. If you are there in late July/early August you may catch the Perahera Festival - a parade of dressed elephants, fire whirlers, Kandy Dancers, Drummers and whip crackers.

The city centre is very polluted but there is a lot to see...

The city centre is very polluted but there is a lot to see and it is worth exploring. I highly recommend taking a tuk tuk tour to visit the sights. We had an adventurous day out with Explore Kandy with Sajith Tuk Tuk Tours.

Best location i have stayed yet in Sri Lanka. This pearl has everything you need. The bed is great, the shower is gorgeous and the personel is the best i’ve seen yet. They will help you with literally anything you need and wil accomodate it for you. If something on the menu is not like your taste, they can change it to your own liking. They have a beautiful big tent on the outside of the hotel, which has a bathtub, AC and literally everything you need. There are no downsides i could mention. Like i have said…. The best location in Kandy

Just four spacious rooms with great service and the most central location. Walk to the lake, temple and all downtown restaurants. Delicious Sri Lankan breakfast in the cozy cafe. Very secure with a parking attendant and friendly police at nearby government offices. Lots of guides, drivers and pilgrim families use the area making it busy and upbeat yet very quiet at night. The scent of lotus and jasmine temple offerings waft through the air.

Lovely hotel, very comfortable rooms with big bathrooms and a nice restaurant. For the price we were very impressed with Kandy Hills, easily the best value for money during our 2 weeks travelling around Sri Lanka. We wanted to look round Kandy and found this hotel very well placed. On the hill just out of the center, it is about 10 minutes walk to the lake, and, another five to get to the temple of the tooth (if you like walking)

It was one of our best accommadations in Sri Lanka. We were able to enjoy the impressive view in the suite from both the bedroom and bathroom thanks to the large panoramic windows. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave us a lot of tips. The breakfest and the dinner was very delicious. We can also reccomend a tuk tuk tour, which the hotel offers. We had two exciting and relaxing days in Kandy.

Outstanding stay at Jetwing Kandy , the room was amazing probably the best in our whole two week tour of Sri Lanka , staff were very attentitive, the hotel itself is modern and classy. We loved our stay !
