Almost everything. The staff and owner were very friendly and accommodating. The building, rooms and surroundings are beautiful and the breakfast was amazing. Choices between multiple Sri Lankan options as well as continental. If you are very critical, you could name the size of the bed as room for improvement, but that's it.

Don’t go expecting a 3 star experience. Upali the owner has thought of everything and you will definitely feel like you have had a 4/5 star experience. Can’t imagine there are better views of the bridge. Breakfast was amazing. Tea is served like the old Ceylon days in a proper tea pot. Bed is comfy. Plenty of hot water. Don’t worry about no AC as it’s actually a little cool in Elle. Over my 24 hours there I saw 5 trains at different times of the day. I would suggest that you walk down to the bridge in the early morning to avoid the crowds and guarantee some great photos without people in the background. An absolute must if you are visiting this area.

Amazing stay at Ella Moon Rock! Location is perfect, at walking distance from the center while being very quiet. Breakfest are amazing and Obey is a great host, always giving us the best reco and arranging taxis and tuk tuk for us at the best price! I also recommend if you want to do laundry it's the perfect place.
