The location is also excellent—just a stone's throw away from Galle Fort and within a very short distance of the beach, offering the best of both worlds. Whether you’re looking to explore the historic sights, soak in the vibrant local culture, or simply relax by the sea, everything is conveniently close. Our stay exceeded all expectations. The level of care and attention from the staff was impeccable—they were well-trained, friendly, and attentive to our every need. It’s evident that they take pride in making every guest feel at home, and it truly elevated our experience. On top of all this, the accommodations themselves were outstanding. The rooms were spotless and beautifully furnished, creating a space that was both elegant and inviting. This wasn’t just a stay; it was an experience that made us feel completely rejuvenated. This is by far the best accommodation we’ve had in all our travels across Asia. I recommend this property to anyone planning a visit to Galle, you won’t regret it. This beautifully restored property brings you back in time in the most elegant way. We loved every minute of our stay and our room and surrounds were unparalleled. It’s an easy still into the bustling town, but to be honest we almost felt like we didn’t want to leave. The staff were as welcoming and friendly as you could possibly imagine.

Coconut drink welcome, modern and styled instalations. Toileties and minibar really appreciated. Good and generous local breakfast at the artistic dinning room. We really recommend Saffron Hotel, good value for money.
