Great place in Lake Yala, far from city center. It feels like you are staying in the middle of the savanna. There are few huts in the complex so it's really quiet, low light pollution so stargazing at night is an option. There is a gate you can use to access Yala lake to see buffalos and walks at sunset, really cool. There were some friendly guardian dogs around and the staff was very nice, always available 24x7.

The pool was clean, and the breakfast was very good. This place is quiet and beautiful, especially at night in the jungle. In the morning, it was fun to feed wild peacocks. The caretaker, Priyantha, was very friendly and even took us around the village on his small scooter.

Very friendly hosts, we went to the morning safari and Sambadh (hope it’s the right spelling) cared for us all the time and even prepared lunch when we came back, food was really good.

Everything is brand new and immaculately clean. Beds are comfortable and the setting is beautiful however the hosts made the experience. They cooked us the most delicious authentic Sri Lankan food, and provided everything we needed including bottled water. We were even greeted with a fruit platter as we arrived. I was a little under the weather when I arrived and the hosts even brought me some herbal tea to help my throat which was very thoughtful. We were shocked that we were not charged for any of this upon check out and it was included in the price, amazing value for money and hospitality.

My car was stuck just in front of the villa, there was a turn, one of back wheels was inside drain when I did a sharp turn , then I called the villa owner , he was in Colombo but he managed everything from there , villa manager was super good and friendly, he called someone and car mechanic and 5/6 boys comes to help me …but at the end they called tractor and pulled it out by steel wire .. all they managed within 30 mins .. I was really grateful for this help.. I can’t express my gratitude for them. They do it for everything free..
