Absolutely loved staying here. The beach was super close , short walk to peanut farm surf break . Very easy going indoor outdoor flow . Loved being closed to nature. Nilana was an absolute legend and very helpful!

Secret Paradise is a beautiful wooden cabin surrounded by nature right by the sea. Malika and her family make sure everything is perfect – from cleanliness and service to excellent local cuisine. It’s a very peaceful place to relax, yet close to more touristy areas like Arugam Bay (about 20 minutes by tuk-tuk). We’ll come back as soon as we can, it was amazing!!!

Definitely the place to stay in Arugam Bay! A cool village, much calmer and away from the noisy environment of the main area. A chill and peaceful spot on an empty beach, but still within walking distance to Arugam Bay. The rooms are well designed, cozy, mosquito-free, each with a hammock, and the garden is beautiful with many plants and flowers, plus direct access to the beach. The team is amazing: Friez is a great cook, preparing delicious breakfasts and meals, and he’s always attentive and ready to help. There’s also a very practical laundry service. If you’re looking for surf lessons, it’s perfect – Fasmeer offers excellent classes at a good price, takes you to Elephant Bay or Peanut Farm by tuk tuk, and provides all the equipment included in the price. They also offer a tuk tuk service, making everything very smooth. Overall, a great and relaxing stay in the beautiful Amwaj blue Cabana. Thank you guys!

A wonderful place to stay, perfectly located just outside the busy tourist area, offering fantastic value. Close to empty and wide beach and surf areas around crocodile (5 min walk) and elephant rocks. The hosts are warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond with their hospitality and delicious meals. The rooms are spotless and modern. An absolutely delightful stay – highly recommended!

A hidden gem! My husband and me loved this place. The host is very welcoming and will help with anything. We've been there for a whole month and couldn't ask for more: fully equipped kitchen, sleeping room with air con, an own backyard with lots of palm trees, beautiful sunrises and a big deck upstairs. The house is actually at the beach, so you can watch the ocean anytime. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place.
