The villa is well laid out with all required facilities. It's clean and tidy. The owner was there to receive us and to handover the property. He is very plesent, friendly and corporative. We had full prevacy, comfort and all the freedom. The most liked pat was that the owner allowed our pet dog Labrador to stay with us. Our Labrador was the most enjoyed and thrilled out of all of us, as the dog enjoyed the garden freely by playing and jumping in to the pond in front of the property. The facilities are luxurious and entire property is equipped to satisfy our full expectations.

This is a paradise spot!!! The owner's family has thought about everything. The stunning view, the abundant bird life, the short distance to the park's entrance, but also convenient details indoors, like the switch for the fan beside the bed, make the stay a wonderful experience. We enjoyed our stay fully and are especially thankful for the attention of the owners.

I'm a wildlife Photographer and I've been seeing Hemal as guide for several years now. He recently renovated the place as a guest house and it is fantastic. The place: The room was clean, AC and facilities are brand new and the view is exceptional! It is located a beautiful 10 minute walk from the park entrance, surrounded by green. And is directly next to the path that you would take for a night tour, which is a must in Sinharaja (And nobody is allowed to enter the Park at night). Hemal's wife is cooking and I doubt any of the luxury hotels near by will match the love and effort she put in every single meal. As it is common for Sri Lankan hospitality, they will always ask you if anything is missing or you have any special wishes and will drive to the nearest shop to buy it, without asking. The guide (Which is much more important in Sinharaja!): Hemal is known within the entire community as one who spots the most animals and knows so much about them. While all guides need to absolve basic training to become a guide, you can tell that he is truly passionate about the nature and he will tell you the English, Latin and partly the German names for most of the animals that we saw. You can also tell that he deeply respects the animals and the eco system and puts safety of you and the animals above anything. He grew up right in that village and he's is in the forest every day even on his days off so he always knows all the best spots!

Our stay at Aadiv Twin Villas was the absolute highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka. The hotel is beautiful and full of charm, located in one of the most stunning regions we visited. I stayed at Sinharaja Pitadeniya Hut in Lankagama during our research work in Sinharaja, and it was an excellent experience! The location is ideal—conveniently close to the main road and within easy access to both the Lankagama and Pitadeniya entrances of Sinharaja Forest Reserve. This made it very practical for our research activities. The food was another highlight. Breakfast was included in the price and featured authentic local dishes, which were both delicious and satisfying. The host was incredibly friendly and supportive, always ensuring we were comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The accommodation itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment to relax after a day of work. Overall, it’s a great place for anyone visiting the area, whether for research or leisure. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Rainforest Star Accommodation near the Sinharaja Rain Forest was truly unforgettable. Prabath and his lovely family welcomed us with such warmth and care – always checking in to make sure we were comfortable, well-fed, and had everything we needed. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the jungle. The food was a highlight – delicious home-cooked meals made with love and local ingredients. The rainforest walk arranged by Prabath was a real standout. We were guided by an expert who had a deep knowledge of the forest and helped us spot rare birds, insects, reptiles, medicinal plants, and even a waterfall. It was an immersive and educational experience we’ll never forget – a must-do if you’re visiting the area. Adding to the magic, Prabath told us about a nearby Poya celebration and parade in a local village and arranged a tuk tuk so we could attend. It turned out to be one of the most special experiences of our trip – a beautiful, authentic cultural event filled with music, colour, and friendly smiling locals. We were the only tourists there and felt completely welcomed. Prabath and his family are wonderful ambassadors for Sri Lanka – generous, genuine, and full of heart. If you want to experience the true essence of the country – its nature, culture, and hospitality – this is the place to stay. Highly recommended!
