This was the best part of our trip to Sri Lanka. It really feels like you are at home. The staff were a big highlight, very kind and professional, but also friendly. We were tired and ended up spending most of our days at the hotel, enjoying the pool and playing games. The surrounding is magical, tucked in the forest. Rooms are well equipped and comfy. Food was also great.

The staff were extremely helpful, and always extremely friendly. The price was extremely good for the quality of the hotel. The hotel is just outside of Candy, and not too far away from some amazing hill tea plantations. We rented a car with a driver, which was a very good value and I would certainly recommend.

what an amazing property. we were thoroughly looked after and nothing was too much trouble. the food was exceptional. we wanted traditional Sri Lankan curries and that’s what was prepared for us with spices and fresh herbs and vegetables from the garden. the rooms were huge. the gardens and views were stunningly beautiful and so quiet except for the sounds of the birds and monkeys. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💕

Incredible, incredible, incredible! Words cannot describe how much a gem this place is! In the middle of the most stunning nature and surroundings, it uses the features around it to add luxury to the stay. We loved all the different trails you can go on as well as other offerings available from yoga, massages, the swimming pool with a gorgeous view and bike rides, so your visit can be as active or as relaxed as you like! The owner took us on a magical trek to the river and a hidden waterfall, it was a highlight of our trip. We got to hear his plans for the resort including new trains of varying difficulty and other sustainable activities - we can’t wait to visit again in the future to try these! My children had the best time just being in nature and spotting all the wildlife from the monkeys, fruit bats, chipmunks, porcupines, it kept them entertained and they loved it! Booking a massage is a must, we had an incredible guy who gave the best massage I have ever had and as a female I never once felt awkward he was very respectful and dignified, Finally, Asanka - he was a dream come true for our stay. He made it truly special and he is a real asset to the resort. His cooking is incredible and every dish he made was delicious. He was always on hand for anything we needed, always cleaning the leaves from the pool, giving advice on places to visit, and making sure we had the very best of the hospitality of Aqua Duhinda and Sri Lanka!

The place is absolutely wonderful and the hospitality truly impeccable. Moreover, during the Ditwah cyclone that hit the area, the resort proved its real value. The hotel and the entire staff supported my parents while they were stuck at the property, doing everything in their power to make them feel safe and protected. The hotel is in the middle of nature and the property has very large windows and balconies where you could see a beautiful mountain view. The service was excellent right from the start of the visit and the staff fulfilled all our needs exceptionally. Transportation to Gampola town or Ambuluwawa tower is easily handled by the hotel staff.
