Amazing place to stay as like us you looking to back to the origine where nature and clean environment is the main attraction. The small luxury hotel is extremely well organized and the bungalows distributed on the property in beautifull way with gardens, trees and front lake! We booked a bungalow with pool and it was amazing, super large, comfortable bed, living room, bathroom extra size!!! The Staff was amazing from Marc that received us and take care all the time, Gaya, Jewewan and Chef Swadth just to mentions the more closer to us in these days but all were super kind. We had a fantastic dinner for San Valentine that will remain in our memories forever. They arrange for us the visit to the Park and follow us there. All was over any best expectations and is HIGLY reccomended place to go to have unforgettable moments!!

It was simply awesome! I would have loved to stay longer. this is a place for nature lovers! the staff organized a full day safari for as and the transport by boat to Kalpitiya. Tarique has an incredible knowledge about the animals, the landscape and the locals. in the morning, there are monkeys, birds and other animals. we were told that an elephant is passing by sometimes as well. the food was excellent and varied. the service was like in a 7 star hotel. everybody was very kind and helpful. I really love the sustainable and nature friendly concept and you can feel that it comes deeply from Tariques heart. I will come back for sure!!

I loved how peaceful and immersed in Nature I felt. It was a real detox stay with a wonderful atmosphere. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful and the stay wouldn’t have been such a success without them. I particularly loved the rooms which were both spacious and modern with everything we needed. The outdoor shower was a particular highlight! I’d also recommend all the experiences which were super enjoyable and also informative.

We had a nice stay. Room and food were good and the safari in wilpattu was very nice.

Sea Sand Resort features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Kalpitiya. The property is around 200 metres from Kandakuliya Beach, 600 metres from Kudawa Beach and 2.1 km from Kalpitiya Beach.

If you never been to Kalpitiya, it has a sense of being on the outskirts of civilization. Here you stay nestled among the houses of the locals and share the beach with its fishermen. Beside great kite- and windsurfing (and endless beaches of course), there is not a ton of things to do in Kalpitiya. Scuba diving is good, when there is visibility. Dolphin watching is also a possible activity, but quite an expensive one that last a couple of hours. You won’t find any city center with shops, bars and restaurants near, but you can of course visit other resorts and use their facilities. However you should know that you have a very good restaurant on site if you stay at the Sea Sand Resort! This establishment is made up of about 10 small bungalows with a restaurant. The bungalows are quite basic, but very clean and comfortable and represents good value for money. Within about 10 minutes or more on foot, you can reach surf schools and beaches. From my own experience I can promise that you will be very well taken care off if you chose to stay at Sea Sand Resort.

Very nice place, good welcome from the owner. Room with view and terrace, clean, quiet. I recommend ! Besides, the owner propose Kitesurf lesson. I learnt with him for 3 days, good teacher and kind !
