Everything was amazing. We can’t think of a single thing that wasn’t perfect. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Upul. He was so kind, and helped us with everything we needed. Oneof the most beautiful experiences in Sri lanka was directly in this accommodation, an incredible villa with a pool, a large room, cleanliness and comfort. we felt at home in the villa. Amazing staff who will fulfill your every wish and prepare an excellent dinner under the stars. Beach and the pool area are incredible - best I ever saw. Since the location is jungle, there is not much to do besides safari but pool and beach were so amazing that we didnt even look for any other way to spend our time. Elephant on the beach is WOOOW 😍 Staff is wonderful as everywhere in Sri Lanka - always smiling and being very helpful. Rooms are spacious and designed so good with huge comfortable bed. Food also on point.

The staff were very friendly. Special mention goes to Shehan from the restaurant, Sandaruwan from the pool supplies, ayurvedic doctors and all the wonderful staff at the reception. The food was amazing. Highly recommend this place to all safari lovers and pilgrimage stop overs.

Our stay was excellent. The staff were eager and happy to accomodate all our requests. Kirula in particular really helped us with his service. The location was perfect - right at the doorstep of the national park. Would love to go back here.

This place is amazing.

This place is amazing. We stay with our 3 young kids and the staff were so kind and attentive. All of the small details have been thought of and it’s a wonderful experience in nature. Lovely local Sri Lankan are served for each meal.

It definitely is an experience worth trying.

It definitely is an experience worth trying. The tree house has all the comforts you need but yet kept on the simple side. Don't expect much and you will get a lot. Nice food Bbq and big fire lit for you in the evening to give you a chance to relax and talk about your day activities. It was great to be left alone and the silence of the night. There were times you just felt that we were the only ones there and when you needed something the staff would magically appear

too many jeeps roaming around. 50% of the time we were searching for animals. at some occasions long long jams of jeeps trying to observe leopards and bears the park is beutiful but * jeeps number should be limited * we didnt see a leopard, saw elephants only once, saw a bear briefly only once - for 6 hours in the park we were disappointed

We visited Yala for two days (with two separate game drives...

We visited Yala for two days (with two separate game drives - one evening and one morning one) and although we enjoyed the animals we observed, we did not have any sightings of leopards despite being the national park with the highest concentration in the world. But that is nature so we were just unlucky on those days. However, the most disappointing aspect of Yala was the sheer number of vehicles allowed into the park at one time. As soon as elephants or leopards are sighted, drivers communicate among themselves and vehicles all rush to the scene creating a massive traffic jams. This makes it feel very mass market and doesn’t seem very respectful of the wildlife

Terrible time. No wild animals as expected. Roads are all around the jungle which is pretty disturbing to the wild life. After all it is supposed to be a protected zone for wild life. Jeeps are crawling every corner of the territory. Amused to see all of that disturbing scenes in a wild life protected zone. It's like business zone. Poor animals.

I loved Yala.

I loved Yala. The number of different animals seen was slightly disappointing but apparently wash outs due to rain prevented us from accessing some internal roads. The sunrise and scenery were stunning. I would rate it as good value despite the lack of animals. The whole experience was wonderful.

Absolutely incredible hotel, staff were so friendly and food was excellent. Really cute place with little huts and a swimming pool. We LOVED the safari we booked through the hotel, the guide was incredibly knowledgeable and we had priority queue jump into Yala in the morning. Lassi the dog is gorgeous. I would highly recommend.

Good location for safaris in Yala. Staff helpful. Not for the faint hearted - elephant and leopard wander trough grounds at night. Need to call porter with torch to escort you too and from room after dark. Crocodiles in lake adjacent to hotel. Very close to Yala for safaris. Would suggest 2 night stay and a full day safari

Beautiful hotel room - the biggest and cleanest we stayed in during our trip. Lovely pool area to relax by before safari and lovely place to sit and have dinner - enjoyed the bonfire surprise that the staff did for us all after dinner too. Delicious food! Great location for Yala national park :)
