Just the best hotel in Yala for sure. The pool is incredible in front of the rice fields. You can also have a romantic dinner near the fire each night. Good food, good service, good room ! It's an experience by itself and show the best of Sri Lanka and sri lankans. Thanks for all, you're amazing guys.

First of all the ride to the Lodge is amazing. It feels like a safari on it''s own. We booked a tent but when we got there the owner gave us a room upgrade for free so we slept in this magical very cool tree house. At night you can watch the wild and sometimes elephants come to visit. Also the stuff is so incredibly nice! It was the most special accommodation we had in our whole time travelling Sri Lanka.

Since our arrival, we have been treated with immense respect, and all the staff members are wonderfully pleasant and helpful. The surroundings are a peaceful oasis, the food is incredibly delicious, and the bedroom is very clean. We visited a safari, and the hotel assisted us with a driver and a guide—which allowed us to see elephants and even a leopard in the wild! A heartfelt thank you for such a wonderful welcome and unforgettable experiences; we highly recommend this place and will definitely return. ☺️🙏❤️

This place is amazing.

This place is amazing. We stay with our 3 young kids and the staff were so kind and attentive. All of the small details have been thought of and it’s a wonderful experience in nature. Lovely local Sri Lankan are served for each meal.

It definitely is an experience worth trying.

It definitely is an experience worth trying. The tree house has all the comforts you need but yet kept on the simple side. Don't expect much and you will get a lot. Nice food Bbq and big fire lit for you in the evening to give you a chance to relax and talk about your day activities. It was great to be left alone and the silence of the night. There were times you just felt that we were the only ones there and when you needed something the staff would magically appear

too many jeeps roaming around. 50% of the time we were searching for animals. at some occasions long long jams of jeeps trying to observe leopards and bears the park is beutiful but * jeeps number should be limited * we didnt see a leopard, saw elephants only once, saw a bear briefly only once - for 6 hours in the park we were disappointed

We visited Yala for two days (with two separate game drives...

We visited Yala for two days (with two separate game drives - one evening and one morning one) and although we enjoyed the animals we observed, we did not have any sightings of leopards despite being the national park with the highest concentration in the world. But that is nature so we were just unlucky on those days. However, the most disappointing aspect of Yala was the sheer number of vehicles allowed into the park at one time. As soon as elephants or leopards are sighted, drivers communicate among themselves and vehicles all rush to the scene creating a massive traffic jams. This makes it feel very mass market and doesn’t seem very respectful of the wildlife

Terrible time. No wild animals as expected. Roads are all around the jungle which is pretty disturbing to the wild life. After all it is supposed to be a protected zone for wild life. Jeeps are crawling every corner of the territory. Amused to see all of that disturbing scenes in a wild life protected zone. It's like business zone. Poor animals.

I loved Yala.

I loved Yala. The number of different animals seen was slightly disappointing but apparently wash outs due to rain prevented us from accessing some internal roads. The sunrise and scenery were stunning. I would rate it as good value despite the lack of animals. The whole experience was wonderful.

Our room boy Chandruk (sorry spelling no good), and waiter at dinner Danuska were fantastic. Reception / back room staff were not very good, difficult getting responses to emails, and not very efficient at sorting a room problem. Great location for the Yala safari. Lots of wildlife at the hotel. Very near to the beach. Food was excellent. Pool is large but needs some basic maintenance, tiles fallen off the pool walls. Overall, great place to stay.

Lovely hotel with a good room and nice swimming pool. Staff were really friendly and helpful when I cut my leg and got plasters for her. The restaurant manager, Samphah, ensured that we had a fabulous Sri Lankan curry for dinner. The location was convenient to access Yala NP. We went on an early Safari in Yala NP and they supplied a really nice packed breakfast. Paid by credit card with no charges.

We were only at the hotel for 1 whole day to go on a safari in Yala National Park, still, it was a very nice stay with a warm welcoming and smiling hosts. We got a nice room with air condition and when we were picked up the next morning at 4:30 am for safari, the host came out with breakfast for us which was very ice.

Being in Yala national park surrounded by the wildlife was amazing! Buffalo and monkeys were by pool. Our room had an exceptional view of the ocean. A very quiet and relax full venue, despite being a larger hotel.
