We had an amazing stay at this hotel in Yala! The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a beautiful view of the jungle right in front of our room, making it a truly immersive experience. The pool was a great spot to relax after a day of exploring. A special thanks to the chef, who went above and beyond to prepare delicious meals just for us—the food was absolutely fantastic! The hotel also organized a safari for us, which was a seamless and unforgettable experience. Overall, everything was perfect, from the hospitality to the location. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Yala!

This place is amazing. We stay with our 3 young kids and the staff were so kind and attentive. All of the small details have been thought of and it’s a wonderful experience in nature. Lovely local Sri Lankan are served for each meal.

It definitely is an experience worth trying.

It definitely is an experience worth trying. The tree house has all the comforts you need but yet kept on the simple side. Don't expect much and you will get a lot. Nice food Bbq and big fire lit for you in the evening to give you a chance to relax and talk about your day activities. It was great to be left alone and the silence of the night. There were times you just felt that we were the only ones there and when you needed something the staff would magically appear

too many jeeps roaming around. 50% of the time we were searching for animals. at some occasions long long jams of jeeps trying to observe leopards and bears the park is beutiful but * jeeps number should be limited * we didnt see a leopard, saw elephants only once, saw a bear briefly only once - for 6 hours in the park we were disappointed

We visited Yala for two days (with two separate game drives...

We visited Yala for two days (with two separate game drives - one evening and one morning one) and although we enjoyed the animals we observed, we did not have any sightings of leopards despite being the national park with the highest concentration in the world. But that is nature so we were just unlucky on those days. However, the most disappointing aspect of Yala was the sheer number of vehicles allowed into the park at one time. As soon as elephants or leopards are sighted, drivers communicate among themselves and vehicles all rush to the scene creating a massive traffic jams. This makes it feel very mass market and doesn’t seem very respectful of the wildlife

Terrible time. No wild animals as expected. Roads are all around the jungle which is pretty disturbing to the wild life. After all it is supposed to be a protected zone for wild life. Jeeps are crawling every corner of the territory. Amused to see all of that disturbing scenes in a wild life protected zone. It's like business zone. Poor animals.

I loved Yala.

I loved Yala. The number of different animals seen was slightly disappointing but apparently wash outs due to rain prevented us from accessing some internal roads. The sunrise and scenery were stunning. I would rate it as good value despite the lack of animals. The whole experience was wonderful.

This is a great hotel and we had a very enjoyable 3 night stay. The location is excellent, less than 5 minutes from the entrance to Yala. The hotel is in a lovely spot - there is direct access to the beach and the pool overlooks a lake with buffalo, crocodiles, birds etc. The rooms are well equipped, a good size and very comfortable. Dinner is a choice of a la carte or buffet - the buffet food was excellent, very high quality and plenty of choice. The staff were great, very friendly and always smiling and helped us with a late check out.

We completely enjoyed our stay at blue Sky Hotel Yala. The Manager was extremely kind and fullfilled all kind of wishes. So, he arranged a perfect fullday Safari to Yala for us. His Brother is a really good wildlife Ranger and not only made us see leopards, elefants and many more but also managed that we often could enjoy the animals for ourself because he knew a lot of beautiful secret spots. Also, the Manager easily arranged a transfer to our next Stop. We definetaly recommend everybody to stay at Blue Sky Hotel!

Attanayaka the hotel manager was exceptional! He was always willing to help and made our trip very easy. He organised our trip to the Yala National Park and went over and above for us on New Years. Chef Nuwan was excellent in making us food each night and providing us with a breakfast in the morning before our 5am safari. Pool is awesome as well and great location as it is a short walk from the beach.

Beautiful hotel with friendly and caring staff. 20 minutes drive from the Yala national park. Spacious rooms with very nice view on the rice fields. Food was good but not excellent. The general manager is very caring but sometimes a little bit too much.
