This hotel was an amzing experience. The staff were warm and helpful and went out of their way to ensure all was well with your stay. The hotel's emphasis on health was refreshing and all the food options were healthy choices. There is a smoothie bar with dleicious smoothies and breakfast was fresh and delicious with real eggs and ingredients. .The service was excellent. The rooms were a great size - comfortable with alot of attention to detail. . The shower was amazing and fresh large size towels were replaced once used along with all amenties. your needs were met before asking. The gym is amazing along with the classes offered if exercising is important to you on vacation. Overall this hotel exceeded expectations in every area and we would recommend this hotel without any hesitation !!! When we travel to a new location we sometimes break up our stay at different hotels. We did that on this trip and we were so sad we did as the Regent Port Montenegro which is considered the 5 star of this area did not come close to 5 star especially when compared to what we received at SIRO. EXCEPTIONAL HOTEL EXPERIENCE!!! Will be recommending this hotel to all family and friends visiting Montenegro!!

Excellent hotel and personnel. I've booked two rooms for two days and surprisingly got a free upgrade to see view rooms. Also, we had a fantastic breakfast in their own restaurant. The location is advantageous, as it is located in proximity to Porto Montenegro, where one can indulge in shopping and dine at numerous restaurants.

Our stay at La Roche Hotel in Tivat was absolutely exceptional. We booked the two-bedroom suite for our family (2 adults and 2 kids), and it exceeded every expectation. The suite was elegant, spacious, and luxuriously appointed — just like the photos. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the marble bathroom with a rainfall shower felt indulgent, and everything was impeccably clean and well maintained. The views from the room were stunning — overlooking the Adriatic and the marina, with magical sunsets every evening. It was the perfect mix of tranquility and convenience: right by the water, yet just a short walk to the town center and Porto Montenegro. Each morning, breakfast by the sea was a highlight. A delicious mix of à la carte dishes and fresh local ingredients, served with warmth and attention. The rooftop pool was small but perfect for our 10-year-old — he loved it. What made this stay truly unforgettable was the personalized care and thoughtfulness from the team. A few examples: We arrived early (9:00 AM) after a morning flight — well before the 3 PM check-in. Breakfast was still being served, and the hotel graciously offered it to us that day in place of our final day’s breakfast. On our departure day, we had to leave at 6:30 AM before breakfast hours — and the team prepared two complimentary breakfast bags for our kids. One morning we returned late from an eye appointment — well past breakfast hours — and they still served us with a smile. Special thanks to Marco, Julia, and the front desk team — incredibly kind, professional, and always ready with helpful local tips. Everything about La Roche felt personal and heartfelt. If you're visiting Tivat and want something truly special, La Roche is the place. We can’t wait to return.

After spending some time in Tivat, living near Porto Montenegro — I can say it’s one of the most pleasant places I’ve stayed. The living here combines the best of a small coastal town and a lively, comfortable city. You get the sea, the yachts, the walking promenade, beautiful views of the bay and mountains — all just minutes from your apartment. Shops, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and everyday amenities are right nearby, making life easy and convenient. The climate, the sea breeze, the calm rhythms of life and friendly locals create a sense of peace and balance. It’s a perfect place if you want to be productive and at the same time enjoy relaxed Mediterranean living. For me — it’s a spot where hustle and comfort meet, where work and lifestyle find a smart balance. Tivat near Porto Montenegro feels like home and inspiration at the same time.

Tivat is a gorgeous town with the original town with few...

Tivat is a gorgeous town with the original town with few shops and bars/restaurants used by the locals. Porto Montenegro is a modern part of the town with lovely restaurants, designer shops and great facilities - still reasonable food and friendly staff. Tivat is a great base to explore the coastal resorts including Perast, Kotor, Budva etc. Public transport is not great so would recommend hiring a car - plenty of parking everywhere (although do your research to find the better car parks in each town as there are some dodgy private car parks which we managed to avoid).

I recently spent a few days in Tivat, Montenegro, and honestly, I was surprised by how much I fell in love with this little coastal town. It’s small, calm, and effortlessly beautiful — the kind of place that doesn’t try too hard to impress you but still totally does. The first thing that caught my eye was Porto Montenegro. It’s stunning — full of fancy yachts, chic restaurants, and designer shops, but somehow it doesn’t feel pretentious. I loved walking along the marina in the evenings, gelato in hand, watching the sun dip behind the mountains. It’s glamorous, sure, but also relaxed in that easy Mediterranean way. One of my favorite days was spent at Plavi Horizonti Beach. The water there is ridiculously clear, and it’s shallow enough to just float around for hours. I also took a quick hike up Vrmac Hill, which gave me the most incredible views over the Bay of Kotor — definitely worth the effort! What I really appreciated about Tivat was the balance. You can have a fancy dinner overlooking the marina one night, and the next, enjoy a quiet meal at a local restaurant where the seafood tastes like it came straight from the ocean (because it probably did). Agape (in Porto) was my absolute favourite. 1000/10. Tivat might not be as famous as Kotor or Budva, but that’s part of its charm. It feels peaceful, safe, and genuinely welcoming. If you’re looking for a place to slow down, soak up some sun, and enjoy good food with even better views, Tivat is absolutely worth adding to your travel list.

It is a typical city on the Balcanian coast. The main big problem at the moment is a heavy traffic when you enter the city from the east or south east. You spend a lot of time there and if you go for attractions in the neighbourhood, you have to calculate with this, In fact, it is a waisting of time. The problem occured because the works on the road, but it is really a big delay and there is no police, nobody who regulates that

A variety of small beaches, clean seas and wide promenades. Plenty of boat trips, restaurants and bars are available. Local buses are a little tricky to navigate but with careful planning you can get to most places. With a car it is a good base to explore further afield.

We enjoyed the size of the resort, small enough to walk around with lots of small shingle beaches where it was easy to enter the sea for safe swimming. The grocery shops were well stocked with reasonably priced fresh produce. A good variety of boat trips were available. The local transport was somewhat problematic with no proper timetables even online. We would have travelled around more if we knew what time the bus should come.

We had a fantastic stay at Boka di Mare, perfect for a family of four, kids are 17&19. Lots of space. Perfect location and views. Nice local beach nearby, water shoes recommended as it is pebbly. A few minutes walk to Tivat and Porto Montenegro which are both stunning. Porto Montenegro filled with luxury Yachts and nice restaurants. We will definitely come again. The host, Jovica, was very helpful and friendly. Picked us up from Tivat Airport.

Ivan is very polite and friendly host. Communication with him was very easy. He was very helpful explaining the environment of the apartment (close bakery, beach, parking etc..) Apartment is well equipped. There are two bedrooms and apartment fits up to 5 people easily. Kitchen is well appointed as well as bathroom. Location is good as well. It takes up to 3-4 minutes of driving to get to Porto Montenegro in downtown Tivat. Highly recommended!

Just book it already! We liked everything. Best apartment we stayed during our 7 week trip. Newly opened accommodation. Absolutely beautiful with boho style decorated apartment. Like a 4/5 star boutique hotel room but it is apartment with good kitchen and washing machine. Bed was good and pillows good. Balcony with sea view. Short walk from everywhere. Close to best beaches and Porto Montenegro. Host was very helpful. Lovely neighborhood.

The staff went above and beyond, always ready to help with our frequent requests without making us feel like a bother. They were incredibly kind and extremely helpful, which made our stay truly enjoyable. The hotel was very clean, with great attention to detail, and the location was perfect for exploring the area, just a short walk to Porto Montenegro. To top it all off, the food at the restaurant was amazing, especially the breakfast.
