I had changed my travel plans and ended up staying longer at Hôtel Riziky than anticipated. It was the best decision. The Hotel itself sits on a large, partially forested property right next to a charming beach. From this quiet and sublime setting on the bay the centre of Diego Suarez is reached within 10minutes. It is a perfect location to venture out and explore the Northern Tip of Madagascar, with its rich history and incredible natural land-and seascapes. There are a variety of rooms available on the property to suit the specific needs of guests. My room, on the second floor of one of the white rendered brick buildings, was tastefully furnished and beautifully spacious with a large balcony/window overlooking the bay and sky. There’s even hot water, a rarity in my experience. The food was exceptional, prepared with such dedication and attention, tasted great and always presented beautifully. It often including fresh seafood caught on the day. The breakfast plentiful always accompanied with a freshly made exotic juice. The pricing is very reasonable. Hôtel Riziky is relatively new and is, in its village style setting, still being extended. It is the result of a Malagasy family vision, built and run by three wonderful sisters, amidst other members. It is both, their work and life, which shows in the level of care and the guesthouse model they are realising, which is embedded sensitively on their land. They are always helpful, considered and supportive, catering to my and other guests needs. I had the best time and was profoundly touched by the genuine, easeful and welcoming mood and gestures. Can’t wait to return.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mantasaly Resort, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. Their hospitality was exceptional; always ready to assist with a smile, whether it was providing local insights, recommendations for activities, or ensuring that my stay was comfortable. It’s clear that the team at Mantasaly takes pride in their service, and their friendliness significantly enhanced my experience. The resort itself is a gem. With lush gardens, picturesque views, and serene beachfront access, I found myself constantly captivated by the natural beauty that enveloped me. The vibrant flora and fauna around the property provide a tranquil atmosphere, perfect for unwinding and soaking in the surroundings. I particularly enjoyed taking leisurely walks along the beach during sunset, where the colors painted across the sky were nothing short of magical. Additionally, Mantasaly Resort offers a variety of activities that allow guests to fully immerse themselves in nature. From guided hikes to explore the nearby trails to opportunities for water sports, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The eco-friendly initiatives the resort implements also reflect a deep respect for the environment, making it a great choice for those who value sustainability. Overall, my time at Mantasaly Resort was delightful, characterized by stunning nature and a remarkably friendly staff. I highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway that prioritizes both comfort and connection to the stunning landscape. I look forward to returning to this little piece of paradise in the future!

Great location, out of crowded Diego on the way to Ramena beach so easyly reachable from both sides and great starting point for trips. Personal including management is amazing, helpful and realy friendly. Our stay ws really great! Highly recommended!!

I loved the room, spacious with a lovely balcony. Everything was clean, the decoration was nice and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful and they organise tours. The breakfast was also very good. Close to the center of Diego Suarez and the main tourist road. Great quality-price!
