    A very nice place to stay right on the beach.

    A very nice place to stay right on the beach. Had half board the food was good. The place was clean and the staff were very friendly. Tours were reasonable priced. Hotel was a very affordable and good value for money.

    Belle Mare is a quieter resort as most of the coastline are...

    Belle Mare is a quieter resort as most of the coastline are hotels and a golf course without much else. So if you are looking for a resort with facilities ie shops / bars & restaurants outside of your hotel there isn't much within walking distance there is hardly anything. If you have a car Flacq is a 15 min drive away with the Market and Supermarket. The beach is quiet and beautiful.

    Staff is wonderful, helpful and well informed.

    Staff is wonderful, helpful and well informed. They go out of their way to assist. Ravin is an amazing person. We had only breakfast included. Food and drinks are generally quite expensive. Similar to what you will pay in a 5 star hotel in London. Gardens and facilities are excellent. Will definitely visit again. A small complaint about housekeeping was immediately attended to and a bottle of champagne was offered as a gift.

    Really lovely! Great for couples and families. Beautiful rooms overlooking the sea. Great place to kick back and relax. Staff are very friendly but sadly some wrong information was given us about the sunrise from our room with a view. It turned out the sunrise was further to our right. But the tip did make us get up early to watch the sunrise

    The owner is very caring. We felt not just relax but also pampered by the caring of welcoming drinks etc She organized everything quickly when asked. The place is big and great with pool and the beach just after the yard. There was a lady for cleaning With my family we were really very satisfied

    The hotel is located on the east coast of Mauritius at the Belle Mare beach. Exquisite hotel, very welcoming staff always ready to help and make sure you are having the best possible stay at The Residence Mauritius. I was on half-board basis which was fantastic, the buffet spread was delicious and has something for everyone. The room was well appointed and spacious enough. I really enjoyed my stay and I would definitely recommend it for anyone who wants a relaxed holiday in style, yet at an affordable price.

    A great place for a holiday with kids - our son loved the large Kids Club (open from 9am - 10pm!) and the professional and friendly staff. The food is exceptional, even at the "regular" buffet in the main restaurant. Fantastic breakfast with all the options you need. The gym was not perfect but quite decent for a hotel gym and sufficient for basic workouts. And the beach is one of the best in Mauritius, no question about that.

    The hotel is very well laid out and clean, the staff are all friendly and are always asking if there any issues or anything they can do. The entertainment is there if you want it, but a very chilled relaxing hotel. The beach is just across the road and they provide a drinks cart daily. The Tabaj serving more authentic snacks was great!
