Staff are very nice & helpful here! The food in the restaurant & complimentary breakfast were both very good as well. The menu was a bit small but there's still a good variety of options and you can't really go wrong with what's there. The room was a good size with plenty of storage space for luggage & balcony area for fresh air. The rooms were also cleaned daily so they're spotless & very comfortable. The aircon in the room was also very good, it was very hot out when I visited, and usually I cannot sleep if it's too hot but I had no issues here! The guest house overall has a small cozy vibe, I was busy running around constantly during my stay so it was a great place to relax. :)

We had a wonderful stay at Veranda. The staff at reception, bar and restaurant were really nice, helpful and friendly. The room and the swimming pool were clean. Nice food with good variety. Special mention to Balram at the restaurant who was adorable. We recommend this lovely place to anyone.

Close to supermarket and shops Beach is 5mins on foot🥰 The rooftop is really a nice place to relax and watch the beautiful sunset of Mauritius. The bar has delicious cocktails and kitchen serve good food! Good breakfast with a lot of choices. Room is clean and spacious with a small living room. Staffs are very friendly☺️

Wonderful place to stay. I don’t normally stay in hostels but this was perfect – the beds are comfortable, and the rooms are quiet despite the fact that if you want to, you can spend time outside with other travelers and the staff – who, by the way, were exceptional. Lena and Vivek really went out of her way to make sure everyone got what they needed, whether it was directions, recommendations, or help with their transportation. I had a great time there.

If you're looking for a luxury hotel with impeccable service, great food in a beautiful location, then look no further! For our belated honeymoon, and with my wife pregnant, we were looking for a hotel in Mauritius that couldn't and wouldn't disappoint in any way. After extensive research, we chose Royal Palm Beachcomber Luxury, and we are so happy we did, because our stay couldn't have been better. We arrived early (9 am) but we were warmly welcomed by several staff members, too many to remember their names, but it made us immediately feel at home. Since we stayed nearly 3 weeks and knowing my wife was pregnant, they were so nice to upgrade us to a suite on the ground floor, so no stairs had to be taken, and on top of that they provided a pregnancy pillow for my wife. This made her night's rest so much better that she now also wants one at home. Our suite was huge and modern, and had everything we could have wished for. Wall outlets look like British sockets with plug type G, but they also take the common European type C plugs. Next to that, both sides of the bed have also one USB A and one USB-C outlet, so ideal for charging any type of phone and other devices. Our bathroom was huge with a standalone bath, a shower and 2 sinks, plus a walk-in wardrobe. The terrace had a couch, a small coffee table with chairs overlooking an infinity pool and the ocean, and a dining table with a similar view. The hotel facilities are top quality. The beach is a tropical paradise with fine sand, comfortable covered sunbeds, clean turquoise water of high salinity that allows you to float like in the Dead Sea, and very friendly beach staff that is always available to bring you complimentary water, or for ordering drinks or, food. They also make sure the beach stays clean, and provide towels for you to use. On top of that, there's even a mixologist where you can try several types of mixed fruit drinks.

It's very authentic and easy to navigate... it's a bit tricky walking around as there really are not too many pedestrian lanes. Endless cute shops, restaurants, the people were so friendly.. Good value for money too!

Mauritius is called by its locals as paradise island i mean everyone says amazing things about the country they originate from however the people of mauritius truly mean it when they say it, its a beautiful colourful, green and tropical country with endless miles of beaches always a stone throw away. where ever you go you see beautiful coconut trees, palm trees and mango trees and some stunning birds, colourful dragon flies and bats the nature alone is so breathtaking. the food, the locals, the price point of excursions, the weather and the beaches were literally out of this world. its a country that i would genuinely consider going again and again infact i actually cant wait to step back into mauritous and forget my blues, if your a avid diver or snorkler then mauritius is a must, we did so much in the space of 9 days from paragliding, snorking with turtles, undersea water walking, diving, water sking, off road riding using ATVs/quad bikes, watched horse racing, zip lining, shopping in there vibrant colourful markets, visiting historical sites that were rich with history and different cultures, eating out local street food and world class cuisines for very little money. super affordable and what a beautiful hidden gem of a country. family and myself were completely blown away by it to the point we are rethinking ever going back to places like dubai over beautiful tropical natural countries like mauritius. we also had a friendly parrot that would visit us daily and gladly sit amongst us without being scared or shy and share some food with us.

Grand Baie is a good place for family or couples as it has beautiful white sandy beach, good for shooping with lots of brands from the world with affordable price plus most of tourist destionation can be accessed with out fee

Great area, all within walking distance to shops, beaches...

Great area, all within walking distance to shops, beaches and restaurants. Transport is readily available via car rental, bus or taxi. Loved the Banana Bar for evening drinks and live music. Wonderful meals at the Trojan Horse Greek restaurant and Sunset Beach Cafe for breakfast.

I am a travel writer, and though I usually avoid the touristy areas, this township has lovely coastal areas, nice bars, and great local & international cuisine. I would return anytime to relax & feast and it features in my next book: Current book, What the Monsoon Knows

For the owner/ team that thinks the guest reviews are dishonest. Here are a few pics of the disgusting state of affairs. The pics include cockroaches on the curtains, rat's poop in the living area, burnt and dirty utensils, a flooded bathroom and a dirty pool. Hope this helps other guests avoid this place.

AMAZING PLACE! The most spectacular view of the Grand Baie from terrace. Big and spacious balcony with panoramic view of the beach. Beautiful sunsets. Three big and comfortable bedrooms with three separate bathrooms. Very clean. Very well equipped. The host is kind and helpful. The apartment is close to restaurants, beach, supermarket, everything! The best place to stay in the North of Mauritius. It was great pleasure!

For our family and our 8th Mauritius trip, first time at this location, was perfect. Private pool. Great facilities, all you need for a family and perfect for lunches and dinner with friends. Extended our stay twice on the trip to stay here over other plans we had, because we were so comfortable. The best all in one home base in all our trips.

Staff very nice and hospitable, the apartment tidy and clean, location very good everything around ( touristic agency just next to the hotel, money exchange also is there, crossing the street is the public beach,supermarket walking distance and good restaurants around.
