I had the pleasure of staying at the Champs De Mars Apartment during my recent short visit to Mauritius, and I can't say enough good things about it! From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the charming and cozy atmosphere that this apartment offers. First and foremost, the location is fantastic. Situated right next to the iconic Champs De Mars Racecourse, the apartment offers stunning views and a unique atmosphere that you won't find anywhere else on the island. It's also conveniently located near shops, restaurants, and public transportation, making it easy to explore all that Mauritius has to offer. Moreover, the apartment's security was excellent. The apartment itself is impeccably clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated. The interior design is tasteful and modern, providing a welcoming and homely ambiance. The spacious living area is perfect for relaxation and entertaining, and the kitchen is fully equipped with all the amenities you need to prepare your own meals if you wish. One of the highlights of the Champs De Mars Apartment is the balcony, which overlooks the racecourse. The breathtaking views of the races and the lush greenery are truly a unique experience that adds a special touch to your stay. The host, Adam is incredibly accommodating and friendly, always ready to assist with any questions or requests you may have. Traffic in Port Louis is very busy so allow extra time if...

Traffic in Port Louis is very busy so allow extra time if you need to travel anywhere. You will need consider this when ordering a taxi. There was nothing open near the villa to walk to besides the beach/boat dock area. This was cleaned everyday by the local authority and included toilets.

Plenty to do and visit. Street food is safe to eat. So give your tastebuds a treat whether sweet or savoury just be aware of 🌶️. Use local buses around the island it’s bone-rattling fun. Generally people are very helpful.

Very good property. Owner is very helpful, can organize tours or rent taxi, cars if needed. Breakfast is also very good. She is an excellent cook, she can cook many many types of dishes, all of them very tasty. Local bus is available at walking distance directly to Port Louis bus stop. There is a swimming pool in the property. The rooms are spacious and clean, with big attached bathroom. The sea is visible from the roof.

The place is well located within the China Town of Port Louis and is easily accessible to all major attractions in the capital. It's proximity to the North Bus station and taxi stand is a plus. There are some nice Chinese restaurants in the vicinity. The place is good for few days if you are coming for work but would not recommend for holidays

The location was central to everything. The Waterfront is just 10 mins walk away. The Fort is also 10 mins walk away. The financial district is 5 mins away and Chinatown is right at your doorstep. Lots of food options, museums, and shopping within 10 mins so it's pretty perfect if you plan on experiencing Port Louis itself.
