Ismael went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my visit was perfect. His attention to detail, deep knowledge of the island, and genuine care for his guests made my stay unforgettable. Whether organizing activities or sharing insights about local life, his passion for hospitality truly shone through. Every meal was a masterpiece, combining fresh local ingredients with remarkable skill and creativity. From mouthwatering Maldivian delicacies to innovative international dishes, each bite was a treat. I can honestly say it was some of the best food I’ve had in the Maldives, and I looked forward to every meal during my stay. We had an amazing stay at Blue World. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and well located. We loved having the bikes available to quickly get around! What really made the stay was the staff - they were just amazing! We did three excursions in two days - to Hanifaru to see the mantas, then another trip snorkelling on two reefs, and finally a sunset dolphin cruise. The staff are so knowledgeable and friendly, they took us all over and spent so much time teaching us and showing us their wonderful island. We would come back in a heartbeat! Thank you for the best stay!!

I decided to spend my 27th birthday at Ahmed's guest house - it was the best decision!!! 27 Pluses why Ahmed : 1)he organized Transfer from Male to the island & back 2)helped us with heavy suitcases 3)greet us with a delicious breakfast &welcome drink 4)incredibly beautiful house with a garden 5) 5 min walk To the beach 6) There are sun loungers on the beach from our house 7) you can water your feet- not to bring sand into the house 8) The floors are shiny-not a grain of sand on the floor 9) Towels are crystal white 10) Daily cleaning is absolutely gorgeous! 11) Lemongrass always smells nice 12) The bathroom is excellent - hot water, summer shower, tap with water for feet, shampoo&shower gel! 13) Drying rack for clothes 14) Wi-Fi 15) Air conditioners &ceiling fan 16)Ahmed’s wife cooks deliciously, and Ahmed always represent with love all the dishes prepared by his wife 17) different menu: traditional Maldivian, European, Indian, Korean 18) always various exotic fruits of this island+ freshly squeezed juices 19) Coffee, tea, sugar, milk, sweets for tea - always available at any time of the day 20) If you need help, he will answer 24/7 at any time of the day or night. 21) The house has information stands, magazines with ALL types of Maldivian fishes corals 22)Ahmed organized magical, unforgettable excursions: to the turtle reef, sunset with dolphins, fishing. Expected Dharavandoo just to be a transit island with it's...

Expected Dharavandoo just to be a transit island with it's airport traveling to a resort nearby. We had chosen to spend a few days in the Biosphere guesthouse. The charming guesthouse itself, the wonderfull staff and the range of activities made us extend our stay with a few days. It's the perfect startingpoint for alot of affordeable (water) activities and also the island has alot to offer (inc nice beaches, snorkling spot's, sports- and playgrounds, restaurant (Krill is recomended!),... We spent new year's eve where the islands council arranges a memorable big party for tourists and residents.

Amazing stay for one day after diving livaboard trip.

Amazing stay for one day after diving livaboard trip. Walking around was really relaxing as this island is QUIET! Personal highlights were playing volleyball with the locals (free court with lights, started at 9 and we went on until midnight!). Also Coral Boutique is a must visit - blue whale bones, and owner is super interesting to talk to! Don't leave the island without visiting the store! DFC for food is a must.

The manta snokelling trip in Hanifaru bay was stunning - seeing ~20 giant manta rays, the sensation is just difficult to describe in words! And the sunset fishing trip was also beyond expectation - we caught amost 20 fishes and the guesthouse helped cook the catch without surcharge.

The island is very small and you can walk it, in flip-flops, rather slowly from one end to another in about 15 minutes. It is very quiet, full of wonderful beaches, seemed safe and the grocery store was easily reachable as well.

Dharavandhoo is a very laid back locals island.

Dharavandhoo is a very laid back locals island. There is not much to do other than diving and beach time, both of which were truly wonderful. The island does not allow alcohol, and females should respect the Muslim culture and cover shoulders and thighs, and swim at the "bikini beach." A bicycle is all that is needed to get around the island, Keep in mind that there are few cafes and shops, so be prepared for diving, sun and relaxation. Small and quiet island occupied in its half by an airport...

Small and quiet island occupied in its half by an airport and on the other half by the locals and a few guesthouses. Perfect place to relax and forget all the rest. Not much to see on the island. Few souvenir shops and one restaurant near the airport. Some excursions are organized by the guesthouses. Very quiet place. Friendly people, lovely beach and dolphins strolling by. I recommend Honney Bunny restaurant next to the airport. Dharavandhoo is not a place to stay for too long if you prefer busy environments.
