Though we stayed for only three nights, the warmth, professionalism, and excellence of the team made it truly unforgettable. Location: The journey itself is part of the magic—just a 20-minute scenic seaplane flight followed by a short 5-10 minute boat ride that transports you to this paradise. The Island: Small, serene, and breathtakingly beautiful, Kandolhu is the epitome of a private island retreat. The Resort: Thoughtfully designed with just 30 villas, the property balances exclusivity and comfort. It offers five outstanding restaurants, a stylish bar, a well-equipped gym, a serene spa, and a sea activities center—ensuring that every guest finds their own perfect way to unwind. Our Villa: We chose an overwater villa, and it exceeded all expectations. With a private pool and direct sea access, it provided the perfect blend of luxury and tranquillity. Staff & Service: The essence of true hospitality is mastered here. The team anticipated our needs before we even realized them, creating a seamless, highly personalized experience. Their warmth and attention to detail set a new benchmark for excellence. Dining: A standing ovation to the executive chef, sous-chefs, and the entire culinary team. The food was fresh, inventive, and packed with flavour. With five distinct restaurants—offering Mexican-Peruvian, Mediterranean, Japanese, Sea Grill, and an all-day dining option—every meal was a delightful journey of taste. Spa: We had the 'couple ritual'. A sanctuary of relaxation, the spa at Kandolhu offers a truly rejuvenating experience. With expert therapists, soothing treatments, and a tranquil setting, every session feels like a retreat within a retreat—perfect for unwinding and embracing the island’s serenity. Beautiful hotel at the beach on a calm local island. Staff are incredible nice and there is variety of tours available, so there is no chance to get bored. Snorkeling with mantas, turtles, fishing...you can do anything. SUP rental was available too and it was great to paddle around. Akeyz is very attentive and ready to help. There is a roof top restaurant and they also serve delicious coffee. Thank you for beautiful memories :-)

We stayed here for 8 days and really enjoyed it. In my opinion, they made a very good design decision in the rooms. Minimalism and at the same time functional. Lots of space. Clean and fresh. From what could be improved, perhaps tulle on the windows would be useful, since our room was the first on the second floor and it was not convenient to open the curtains all the way, since people would naturally see us inside when they going up. The fan above the bed is also noisy, so we only used the air conditioner, which is well placed and blows past the bed, which is good. During the day, you can relax and work outdoors in the common dining area under the fans. And drink cup of tea. Love it. Only a good impression! Cleaning, drinks, everything is very good. Although we went to explore other locations for a bite to eat, we still chose dinner here! Food is good! Thank you very much, Hassan!

Everything it was a perfect place for peace and tranquility

This guesthouse really exceeded my expectations. This was maybe our cheapest stay when we were in south Ari atooll (we visited 5 islands) and probably the best value for money. The place is just immaculate: amazing staff, very clean everywhere, free beach towel, toiletries, hot water, good AC, ceiling fan, free bottled water, you name it! The breakfast was probably the best we have in south Ari. Lots of things to choose from, plus you can have a continental or a local breakfast. You can also make yourself some tea or coffee in the dining area anytime. They also offer lunch and dinner and it is very good.

"food" was exceptional - absolutely delicious, the cuisine varied and the Maldivian themed night dinner was just incredible! "reef" was exceptional - excellent snorkelling, for all level of swimmers, they even offer you a free diving experience. "water villa" was exceptional - it was beautiful, well maintained, well located and the housekeeping services excellent. The staff are amazing, they are kind, warm, helpful and welcoming. The beverages are of very high quality. Truly an incredible experience - a must-see on any Maldivian tourist list. And we've been to the Maldives 10 times. This was by far the best experience - the resort and island has an incredibly serene vibe.
