I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and...
I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at South Male Atoll / SUN...
I had an absolutely fantastic stay at South Male Atoll / SUN SIYAM OLHUVELI! It take 45 mins from MALE airport to the island by speedboat. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. The level of service provided was impeccable, and every team member I encountered was professional, friendly, and attentive to details.

Great, beautiful resort and amazons snorkeling.
Excellent service, especially kudos to Swami and Hemant in the Malaafaiy restaurant on Dream Island and to Noor for perfect cleaning of our Grand water villa twice a day and always super friendly and service minded. We really appreciated our stay!

We visited Male and did a walking tour. Our guide was excellent. He took us all around the markets, city highlights, and a delicious restaurant. We learned so much about the Maldives in just that 1 tour.

Great value for money....
Great value for money....Staff absolutely professional and friendly...Resort spotless and modern...Excursions all fabulous 👌....Hasnain front of house manager really professional and good at his job...Really made us feel special and attended our every need....Would recommend this resort to anyone looking to travel to the maldives

Not everywhere you can see that much sea turtles and manta ray this was incredible;)Food is good also ,a lot of seafood for dinner. All hotel staff are super friendly and helpful. Hotel has clinic and doctor stay at resort 24/7 and after emergency call come in 10 minutes to the room. For family with kids it’s perfect.

The whole experience was everything we expected and much, much more. For a family- this was ideal: everything about it!
The staff at the hotel were simply amazing and courteous. They couldn’t do enough to help!
The choice of dining and range on all inclusive was fantastic in and around the hotel resort.
We DID NOT want to leave at the end of our stay and all sad to have to get back on the boat to the airport. Thank you, Hard Rock- our boys had the most perfect holiday!

We came back to Velassaru after 10 years and our time there was sensational. What really stands out is the natural beaty of the island. During our stay, we have seen dolphins, manta rays, sea turtles and sharks. Furthermore, the hotel staff is incredibly friendly and competent. Big complements also to the sous chef Wasantha and his team. We will come back very soon!

The pictures do not do justice to this place. Maybe it is my first time in Maldives, but this place has everything that Maldives has to offer. The service is on highest level, great food and facilities at a reasonable for Maldives price. Totally totally recommend

Very luxury experience since the pickup from airport until leaving the resort.
