The owner is really welcoming and gave us loads of great recommendations. We enjoyed using the wood oven and the campfire spot. It’s a beautifully decorated plot in the jungle. If you love staying in nature in a proper wood cabin and aren’t afraid of what can come with it, then this is a great place to stay. Lovely breakfast and the all staff were really kind. Loads of great things to do around and it feels a little bit out of the more touristy area. You definitely need a car to stay there.

This is my second visit to Jolie Jungle, and I was not disappointed again. This is a perfect place for birdwatchers - all the units are surrounded by lush jungle with a great variety of birds, and they are all well apart from each other. I'm up to 116 species of birds on their property or less than 2 km around it. The club house has a nice selection of games (board games, giant chess, pool, ping-pong), and the pool is nice. The owners are very friendly and speak Spanish, English and French, and the rest of the staff is very friendly as well. The food served is excellent.

From the first moments we arrive until the moment we left Yannin and her team treated us wonderfully. They made a special effort to help us celebrate a family birthday. It was a truly fantastic guest experience for us all. Nothing was too much trouble, they made great vegetarian food for us. The food there was first class.

That place is a dream! I lived in Mexico couple of years and was now back again for holidays. I can say the bubble was one of the best mexican experience ever. I also have to mention that the restaurant in the facility is also fantastic. Amazing interpretation of the traditional mexican cuisine.

The posada is a beautiful haven in the middle of nature. The owner goes above and beyond to keep the area clean and manicured. It is in the middle of Selvatica where bugs, wild animals, and natural habitat are abundant so keep it in mind that is a lodge in the middle of a remote area. Yet, the place is very comfortable and it has many touches and details to make the stay a memorable one. We will definitely come back again

This was the perfect little slice of heaven to escape to. In the middle of nowhere, yet still easily accessible. It was quiet, peaceful, comforting, and very easy to relax. Management, staff, and volunteers were a small, intimate group that went out of their way to make everyone comfortable. The meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner if you choose) are all home-cooked on-site and incredibly delicious and they have a variety of vegan options that were all out of this world. Mornings here are peaceful and the perfect backdrop for early meditation/yoga in the meditation tent. The afternoons can be lazy if you choose, in a hammock with a good book or an afternoon siesta in one of the cozy cabins, and the evenings are quiet, either by the bonfire or laying out under the dark sky and bright stars listening to nothing but the night creature noises. (*note - when we were here they were working on the construction of the Tren Maya, so trucks could be heard driving by in the distance, but that is almost finished and it didn't take away from the beauty of our stay.) Our dogs were warmly welcomed and enjoyed exploring the space as much as we did. The property and cabins are meticulous. This stay did not disappoint and we will be back.
