The place was designed to feel good from the very first moment when entering through the main door. Everything integrates perfectly into the ambiance of the subtropical Mayan forest and impresses with it beautiful design. Materials and services are all very high standard and the traditional local cuisine is delicious. With the all-time precence of Tatiana and Ricardo, the hosts of Kokoro Mio, the entire place was filled with harmony and love. Experiencing a Temaskal on 31 Dec. was magic and the massage which we enjoyed 2 times was wonderful. We can not wait to go back one day!

It was so close to the water, you could go for a swim any time in shallow, clear water. There is only 10 rooms, so it’s never crowded. The staff were amazing - so friendly, helpful and kind. Jess the manager was so attentive and spoke great English, and the receptionists were very helpful. The restaurant food is absolutely delicious, the chef is very talented.

Wow! What a place. We loved everything about it. It’s a little piece of heaven. The staff were all amazing. The daily activities were all fantastic. We only stayed for 3 nights but managed to do 2 yoga session, an afternoon of SUP’ing, a water colouring class, a mezcal tasting and a massage. The highly was definitely the sunrise SUP’ing. It’s a must. Make sure you book a room with a lake view as it’s definitely worth the money!

We loved the place. Probably the most beautiful hotel we’ve ever been to. We got lucky to be there in May and there was no one. So peaceful. The lagoon is beautiful, the water is clear and blue, way more beautiful than the sea. The rooms are perfect. Isolated, with great products, a great bed, and the exterior shower is amazing.
