Food is not good totally . We ordered tomyam n pizza for dinner We can say that the prize for the food was not cheap but the taste was not up to the standard. Even the prawn tasted like “ridsect” the pizza was very tasteless The breakfast was not worth it. I did not get time to visit desaru , as I was there for a short stay of just 2 days and the plan was to relax . However, I noticed there were some places to go around like fruit farm, fire fly boat tours . Beautiful beach with the best sunrise view. Driving there from Senai is good with the nice view of the bridge. There are small township not too far away from the Desaru Coast area, so u can still get cheaper n more varieties of food n necessities there instead of limiting urself to eat in the hotel. Cycling is good around the area, less car n good challenging route, so bring your road bike next time.
