    Food is not good totally .

    Food is not good totally . We ordered tomyam n pizza for dinner We can say that the prize for the food was not cheap but the taste was not up to the standard. Even the prawn tasted like “ridsect” the pizza was very tasteless The breakfast was not worth it. Thr team maybe not competent enough to handle such a very big crowd The prize for the room is not cheap either That prize we expect some stars but there is no star can be given to the resort

    Am excellent variety of accommodations to choose from.

    Am excellent variety of accommodations to choose from. The Ombak Festival is awesome here and we came exclusively for it... Easy to get around because we had a chauffeur driven car from the resort. Amd the water theme park was an excellent bonus after the fabulous concerts..

    I did not get time to visit desaru , as I was there for a short stay of just 2 days and the plan was to relax . However, I noticed there were some places to go around like fruit farm, fire fly boat tours . It could be a good trip if one is ready to stay there for 3-4 days .

    Excellent location to spend time with family, especially the beaches. The strong tides made it even more enjoyable. It was possible to fully view the ocean due to the absence of obstructions in addition to the blue waters of the south China sea.

    Beautiful beach with the best sunrise view.

    Beautiful beach with the best sunrise view. Driving there from Senai is good with the nice view of the bridge. There are small township not too far away from the Desaru Coast area, so u can still get cheaper n more varieties of food n necessities there instead of limiting urself to eat in the hotel. Cycling is good around the area, less car n good challenging route, so bring your road bike next time. Food at tge Restoran Nelayan is good, food within Westin is superb.

    The best thing about this unit is the location since it's very near to a small mall, restaurants, and convenience stores. It has a pool which is open till night and a gym. The public beach (Desaru) is just 15 minutes drive away. But when we went there, it closed. We had to travel to Tanjung Balau. The unit that I had was also very clean and got all necessities that my family need except for the water dispenser. Probably the owner can put one water dispenser :) Overall I and my family had a good time over there.

    Nice hotel, really good ambience, room was spacios, clean with the essentials, cozy and great view ! my second time here. Surely choose it again next time. Great service, friendly and very helpfull staff. They greet every guest whenener we bump into each other. The most i like about Westin is the breakfast buffet ! The Nasi lemak is the best, pancake waffle also good. Kopi Kluang and Teh Tarik section is very good !! to be short worth every penny for breakfast buffet . All good !

    Large comfortable modern rooms - amazing air con. Lovely food in restaurants with very big portions. Hotel had a shuttle bus service to beach and to ferry which was necessary due to it being hard sometimes to get taxis this Easter weekend ( in all Desaru, not just hotel). Local shopping and food venues. Staff were so friendly and helpful.
