The location of the accommodation is directly in the national park and the bungalows are amazingly located in the rainforest. Our bungalow exceeded our expectations and was a lot bigger and luxurious than we thought by the pictures. Staff were extremely friendly and we also loved the breakfast and food options in the restaurant! If you go to Mulu National Park, this is for sure the best accommodation as you can directly start your hike out of your room.

The location of the homestay is perfect, 5 min walk to the entrance of the park and 15-20 min walk to the airport. Water and drinks, breakfast, lunch and dinner available for a reasonable price and tasty. Host very friendly and great service. No mosquitos because of the window screens. All day power and fan. Great value for the price. A perfect jungle stay!

I would definitely recommend this wonderful homestay in Mulu! It was a warm welcome from James, who grew up in this remote place. Authentic doesn't get any more authentic, I think. He explained to us all the things you can do and what to bring for a perfect experience. With Brenda we had a wonderful tour of the large caves and she gives us all the information about the animals we saw along the way. In the evening they showed us a documentary on a big screen about the history of Mulu and the struggle between the locals and the palm oil industry. It was very interesting! Basic but you will stay at the park a lot of the time you are in Mulu anyway. Anil is a great host and was super helpful. Also he will bring you to the park entrance and picks you up from there as you like. The view from the restaurant to the river is outstanding.

This was the best homestay we've stayed in - Dina was so warm and friendly and really made us feel at home! She knew how to organise excursions and she even showed us some Orang Ulu clothing and dancing :)

Dina and her husband are very kind and will welcome you very well! Only 7min walking from the entrance of the park, the homestay is well located and you could enjoy the park. You could meet many people and the room is very clean. I suggest to do a local tour organized by Dina with a local guide to visit a village and a waterfall, it's very interesting and nice hiking.

This review is based on the situations in a remote place like Mulu. The stay was good. It's about 1-1.5 km from Mulu national park and airport, so it's in walkable location. The host Helena and Shania was supportive. The room had 3 single beds. Initially I thought it would be a dormitory type of stay. But they have multiple rooms. It is a budget homestay. They prepare dinner and lunch is you ask for. Prices are at par with Mulu park restaurant.
