The view is just amazing, so peaceful to have my morning coffee in the hamac. 3 min walking distance from an amazing beach (Playa Amarillo). Laura, the sweet owner, is still working on making this place a small gem since it is only open for a few weeks now. Kitchen has also everything you need to cook a simple meal. Amazing stay at this sweet, local family-owned place :) Yeni, her husband and their daughter are such a lovely family, they were so helpful, understanding and flexible with timings - which was much appreciated, as I was travelling during the busiest time of the year, Semana Santa! They can give you recommendations for places to eat and help you with transport too :) The rooms are basic but have everything you need. I'd definitely recommend staying here when you come to El Gigante!

Perfect place to stay if you are looking for a cozy hostel with friendly staff and a relaxed vibe. Perfect location in relation to the Spanish school to improve your Spanish, not to mention you have several top surf spots within walking distance! There is a large living room with a bar where you can get drinks. Everyone usually sits here chatting, drinking, watching a movie, playing ping pong or a game of pool. Almost every evening there is something to do in or around the hostel such as Burger night, Taco night and Trivia night. There is a communal kitchen with all amenities and various places where you can relax, such as several hammocks or sofas. The Garden will soon be renovated with, among other things, a volleyball field. There is already a slackline and campfire spot available! And don't forget to cuddle or play with the cutest dog (Lobo) and sweetest cat (Venus)!

If you're debating whether or not to stay here, just stop thinking and reserve yourself at least one night. That night will turn into two nights. And then a week. Before you know it Tukasa really will feel like it is tu casa. With incredibly generous breakfasts, a stunning pool and fabulous staff it is easily one of the best hostels in Nicaragua.

I had a fantastic time at hide and seek and prolonged my stay twice. I was hesitant to book at first, as it had only few ratings, but am so glad I did as It had just opened and everything is stunning! The rooms are huge, super clean and the bed is very comfy. The owners and staff are super nice and helpful. When I wasn’t feeling well, they even made sure I got a lovely veggie soup. It is only a quick walk to the beach and several surf spots are in walking distance.
