The uniqueness of the hostel is unreal. The authenticity and the little bit of magic that is here makes this place an amazing stay! By far coolest hostel. Having a nice big kitchen and fire pit makes it feel like home. The animals and the fruit trees. The stories about each of the caravans. If your looking for a vibe this is it!

We loved our stay at Xalli Beach Hotel. The hosts (especially Carlos) were super friendly, welcoming, and make sure you had everything you need to have a comfortable stay! The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great. The restaurant (apart from breakfast) was closed during our stay (I believe due to low season - October), but there were options to order food from a restaurant nearby and eat it in the restaurant at the property, so it wasn’t really a problem. We organised a taxi pick up from the ferry and a scooter rental via Xalli Beach Hotel as well, which worked great! The property is beautiful and you have direct access to the lake (so nice for a lovely morning swim).

I loved my stay. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean, no complaints. The view of Concepción Volcano from the common restaurant area was amazing. Wifi wasn't great, but I think that's to be expected on Ometepe. I think my phone had good reception though. Location was great too, centrally located. I stayed here because I was hiking Concepción in the morning, starting early, and it was pretty close. Again, the staff was helpful in booking my guide for the hike. Also, they had fireflies at night that were incredible, though not sure how common that is.

This hotel was fabulous. We stayed twice and had two rooms, so we actually saw 4 separate rooms. All of them were really high standard. I don’t think the photographs do this hotel justice. It is stunning. The location and a really central and the staff are lovely. I would love to come back and of course it was exceptional value for money

Amazing views, lovely pool area. Clean comfortable rooms with nice balcony. Nice breakfast with coffee and fruit. Gonzalo is very kind and genuinely cares about his guests. He helped me find things to do on the island and was really friendly and fun to talk with. I’d definitely come back here, it’s a special place.
