This hostel is a little slice of paradise! It’s the perfect place to relax for a week (or more!). They have great facilities, delicious food, really friendly staff and volunteers and lots of hammocks. We got to release baby turtles and it was amazing! Can’t recommend this place more; it’s one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in.

1. Beautiful cabañas - new, spotlessly clean, decorated to perfection, with attention to every detail. There was even a plant in the room :) air con and also a fan, safety deposit box, big mirror; patio to seat outside; 2. Great pool to chill; 3. Amazing restaurant (I had carbonara, as I craved for something that reminded me home) and it was great; 4. Lovely hosts and all staff - I woke up early and one of the staff saw me and brought me coffe to my cabaña 😍; If you go to Las Peñitas, don't think twice - and if rooms will be avaiable, book straight away, you will not find anything better in town.

Quiet located, at a nice part of the beach. Spacious, clean and well equipped rooms. Nice common area with a variety of cozy chairs and some hammocks. Extremely good service... very friendly and helpful owner and stuff (especially the guys from check-in and night-security). A good place to stay!

If you are in Leon take the time to spend a few days at Las Peñitas at Nuevo NAYAL! It’s stunning and beautifully designed. Everything feels new! The spanish couple who set up this place are so kind and welcoming. They have created a true oasis to escape the heat of the city and I couldn’t have had a better 3 nights stay here to round off my trip in Nicaragua. The food is brilliant as well at the restaurant. I ate all my meals there as they were too good! And the staff went out of their way to help me with laundry and tours etc. It’s definitely one of the best, if not the best place to stay in Las Penitas.

I loved the cabin, the place, and the atmosphere. Everything was very comfortable and well-maintained. The place was clean, well-located, and had everything needed for a pleasant and relaxing stay. If you are in Leon take the time to spend a few days at Las Peñitas at Nuevo NAYAL! It’s stunning and beautifully designed. Everything feels new!
