We toured Europe for 22 days, including a cruise, this hotel offered the best breakfast of anywhere we stayed. Fresh, exceptional,1st grade fruit either cut up or whole as well as freshly squeezed fruit juices, Great breads, hot stuff along and a large variety of cereals & yogurts as well. Supper in their restaurant was also excellent with quality food and portions at good value for money. Liked being away from the city for a change, the room was big, clean and everything worked including the Wi-Fi! Helpful staff and a great shuttle service. Couldn't ask for more - this Chariot carries a quality product!

The perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam which was only 30mins away. Watching the sunset over the water and saying good morning to the resident swan was a great way to start and end a busy day. The accommodation was well equipped, clean and comfortable and the hosts were fantastic and accommodating.

Beautiful location, very quiet and enjoyable place. We skipped going to Amsterdam as it was so nice to be in the waterloft and explore the Aalsmeer. What a lovely town. There was a festival, Pramenrace a boat race, with people dressed up on the boats, lots of fun and music. We will definitely come back here. There was a car park space provided in the marina, and it felt very safe and secure there. We had a really good sleep and enjoyed every minute of our stay. We had excellent contact with the host, Anne, she gave us lots of tips about things to do, etc. Thank you and see you soon 🙂

    Lovely city close to Schiphool.

    Lovely city close to Schiphool. Lots of nice walking paths around. I love the Seringenpark and windmill in Stommeermolen. Then, you just have to visit the Flower auction Aalsmeer. That is something incredible. The public transportation is very good, but you can also reach all the places easily by walking or by bike.

    This was a nice area to stay while visiting Amsterdam.

    This was a nice area to stay while visiting Amsterdam. It was about a 25 minute drive to central Amsterdam, but it was very restful to be in a smaller community with a a few small shops, stores and restaurants after spending the day taking in all the sights and sounds of central Amsterdam.

    Is is a lovely village with very nice people.

    Is is a lovely village with very nice people. Really paceful and a very good place to stay if you have business in the schiphol area or amsterdam. I recommend the restaurants around the beautiful lake and the hotels Blue Mansion, Alsmeer Hotel and Chariot.

    Aalsmeer is close to Amsterdam to get in easily, but far...

    Aalsmeer is close to Amsterdam to get in easily, but far enough away that the city does not swamp you. It is close to Amsterdam Bos, which is a massive park, filled with cycle paths. There is shopping and excellent cafes and restaurants. Close by also, is Amstelveen, and I can recommend Colijn restaurant, which is simply amazing. The tram into the Amsterdam is frequent and fast, or you can use RAI park and ride which we used several times because of the simplicity and cost. If you have a car, reaching places like Naarden and Utrecht is straightforward (and both recommended). There is so much historic and modern Netherlands within easy reach of Aalsmeer I can strongly recommend staying here.

    A very nice and quiet city.

    A very nice and quiet city. People were great, we had the opportunity to visit this very nice place, "the Beach" with we enjoyed a lot. People at the front desk were also wonderful. Thank you, we will come back on our next visit to the Netherlands.

    The venue is a lovely separate unit with lounge area and outside seating. Wendy was an amazing host and prepared the most special breakfasts which were delicious and filling. We always had some over to enjoy later in the day. She brought this to the unit each morning so we could enjoy them still in our pj's :-) In addition, so close to the bus stops on Aalsmeerweg so convenient to get around.

    The hotel was really nice but very far from Amsterdam city and cut off by public transport. I had to spend 1.5x the hotel cost just to get to Amsterdam city centre and the initial research before travelling proved to be wrong.
