The staff are very friendly and the hotel itself is extremely comfortable. Food is delicious, plus a great breakfast. Great size swimming pool and sauna. Lovely location with plenty of walks. And conveniently situated for public bus transport to nearby towns. I plan to return for longer next time.

Beautiful scenery, excellent cycling paths, charming villages, various shops and terraces in the area. Excellent restaurants too. In short, a short holiday with fond memories, and we will definitely return. Very friendly owners. It's also a scientifically interesting area. It's absolutely quiet and pitch dark.

A delightful house built in a renovated old sheepfold.

A delightful house built in a renovated old sheepfold. A magnificent dining table and a fully equipped kitchen. The two bathrooms are also spacious and well-equipped. In good weather, you can enjoy sitting outside. There are plenty of walking opportunities nearby. Charming villages are also worth visiting.

A very pleasant temperature and luxurious amenities like a lovely walk-in shower and several bathrooms (upstairs and downstairs). A very spacious living room. Induction cooking took some getting used to, but hey... learned something new.

My favorite part was the room.

My favorite part was the room. It's right next to their beautiful garden. Very relaxing. There was a small refrigerator, so we could have a drink in the evening and chat about the day. Excellent. We went for dinner in Assen; there were plenty of options. The roads are good. I wouldn't recommend going to the butterfly garden. They could have done much more with it.
