There's also a Chinese restaurant at the end of the road, though we didn't try it out. Nearby Hengelo and Borne are charming, while Enchede is well worth a 20 minute drive. The swimming pools adjacent to the bungalows are great for family fun, especially the water slide. In general, you can't say that the city of Delden itself is within walking distance - you have to drive. There is a restaurant. The staff was slow. Took a long time to get a menu and even longer to order. But the food is good. I liked the local red wine and the pear to go with it. The hotel room was standard, no special features.
