Highly recommend this hotel. I booked this hotel as a surprise for my husband’s birthday and they graciously helped me with setting up the room with birthday balloons, bottle of cava and a slice of cake. Besides that the staff are so attentive to special requests, the room itself was very nice and clean. It was very spacious and the modern design was really our style.

What a lovely place to stay, our motorcycle was securely parked round the back of the property. The room was well decorated, comfortable and clean. We had a little outdoor seating area, but was raining so didn't get used. We had a meal in the restaurant which was absolutely beautiful, would recommend eating here during your stay. The breakfast was good value for money and very enjoyable. We used this hotel as a stop off for the Rotterdam Ferry

Our second stay at Het Wapen . Very convenient for us visiting family who live in Elst but also close to the railway station to explore other places. The accommodation is comfortable & clean & all of the staff very welcoming & friendly, both in the hotel & the bar. Our room was quite a walk from entrance but no noise from the activity below!! Great atmosphere whatever time of day.

A well established hotel set in the main street in Elst, it has a lively atmosphere in and around the Hotel with lots of local people frequenting it, the staff are attentive and friendly. The breakfast room is fresh, bright and offers a very good selection of fresh produce to suit all tastes. Excellent value for money in terms of B&B, evening meals and drinks.

Great location in the centre of very nice town. Room at the front of hotel was spacious, clean, comfortable, had air conditioning and a clean bathroom with hot shower. Breakfast was exceptional choice of hot and cold food. Well presented and plentiful. Regularly checked and replenished as necessary. Staff were exemplary. Couldn't have been more helpful.
