We had a wonderful 3 night stay on "the donk" with lovely views over the fields full of ducks, geese and swans. Even though we weren't that lucky with the weather all the days the area is really nice to take a walk along the small rivers, go cycling, visit Rotterdam or even drive to Biesbosch nature reserve and explore the area by bike. The breakfast was sooo good and with a lot of attention to detail. At night it is very quiet and in the morning the first thing you might hear are the chickens behind the house or some pigeons in the nearby trees. The room was very clean and the colors and furniture all had a certain special touch that we really liked.

Amazing host and personal touch to the each detail of the property. Everything very clean, great design feeling and cosiness. We enjoyed breakfast with tiny pancaces and fresh buns. Tea& coffee available all the time. We appretiated the suggestions of restaurants. Would like to come back! Nice location between Breda, Utrecht and Rotterdam.

We could not fault the place. The facilities were excellent, eg. a coffee maker, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and nice lounge. The breakfast was fantastic and was great value for money. In a very quiet area, unfortunately the weather wasn't that kind but on a fine day we imagined that it would have been relaxing taking a stroll around the area.
