The location is brilliant for those coming in via train, it's just outside the main train station in Arnhem. There is a Spar market in the next building so easy access to snacks and drinks. The shopping streets and restaurants are all around and the beautiful church just 10 - 12 mins walk away.

The hotel staff made us so welcome. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. Really got some good night sleeps which I needed. The breakfast was very good. All was very fresh and yummy. I will certainly return to the hotel and also send people there.

BEAUTIFUL CYCLING RIDES, WATCHED THE BEAUTIFUL ROZENDAEL CASTLE WITH A STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL CASTLE GARDEN/PARK, DELICIOUS DINING AT PADELLA AND ME AND MRS. P. (RESERVATIONS REQUIRED). A BEAUTIFUL CYCLING RIDE TO THE HOGE VELUWE WITH ITS MAGNIFICENT MUSEUM.

The nature reserve is fantastic.

The nature reserve is fantastic. Velp has lovely shops and excellent restaurants. We had a delicious lunch at the organic shop, where they use fresh produce for gluten-free lunches. There are many lovely restaurants, and gluten-free options were available everywhere we visited. The houses in the surrounding area are breathtakingly beautiful. Velp is highly recommended.

A charming little town on the outskirts of Arnhem.

A charming little town on the outskirts of Arnhem. Splendid houses nestled in greenery, hinting at the nearby nature parks (Veluwe, Veluwezoom). A shopping street is close to the hotel, as well as several restaurants to suit all tastes (Italian, Asian, brasserie, etc.).

A very warm and hospitable welcome with all the explanations...

A very warm and hospitable welcome with all the explanations. Comfortable beds, a warm room (it was snowing and cold). A good hot shower, and a delicious breakfast. We'd love to come back. It was wonderful to reunite with our children and grandchildren who live there. We had dinner, not far from Mr. Pos, at the Italian restaurant La Padella, which is highly recommended.

A charming, centrally located town on the edge of the Veluwe...

A charming, centrally located town on the edge of the Veluwe, with several pleasant restaurants and recreational opportunities nearby. The restaurants "Me and Mrs. P" and "Brasserie Hugo's" are highly recommended. Hiking and/or cycling (with support) in the Veluwezoom Nature Park or the Posbank, and a bike ride along the IJssel River are also recommended.
