What's not to love! The decor is stunning, the beds were super comfortable and the location was perfect. Close enough to walk to the beach and main restaurant strip, shops etc. but still peaceful. We had a room on the top floor and the views were gorgeous, especially at sunset.

Great for the beach, the dunes and access to Haarlem, Amsterdam and beyond, with regular buses and trains to both Lots of lovely places to eat (and what I believe to be the best chips in the world, at Fritures D’anvers) Wonderful ice cream at San Remo Cafe Mio Great for tapas Can’t comment much on the beach bars as we’ve not really used them A nice little selection of shops, you can get pretty much everything you need for your stay, right on the doorstep. 3 supermarkets all within a few mins’ walk of each other, plus lots of lovely smaller shops for groceries too

    Zandvoort was a good base with shops and restaurants.

    Zandvoort was a good base with shops and restaurants. We visited the Circuit Park. We also enjoyed visiting Leiden by train and Kinderdijk UNESCO World Heritage site by car. We ate at the Bella Italian restaurant near the railway station and various other places.

    We visit this area because it is close to our three grandchildren so not necessarily a holiday. But we really like Zandvoort. It has plenty of good restaurants that we like including the Grand Cafe and Andreas.

    Great location, lovely quiet town but has a few lively bars open until 3am if you want that. Stunning beach and great beach bars and restaurants. 15 mins on train to Haarlem and 30 mins on train to Amsterdam. Very friendly and would definitely go to Zandvoort again.

    Excellent location for families with wonderful amenities in the local town which is a 15 min walk. The beach is a 5 min walk, we went in December and this would be amazing in the summer months. Great train connections into Harlem which I would highly recommend for shopping and eating out as it has everything from designer wear to Pandora!

    Zandvoort aan Zee is a charming seaside escape with easy access from Haarlem via train or bus. The beach is perfect for leisurely walks, and there are plenty of pools and activity facilities to keep everyone entertained. It's a haven for families—except when the race car fanatics descend, bringing their revved-up energy!

Bell-Hotel is located at a great corner with beaches, shops, restaurants, bars and the train station Zandvoort aan Zee in walking distance. We asked in advance if we could check in earlier because we had to get ready for a wedding and the staff went out of their way to make this possible, thanks a lot!

    The room was enormous, much bigger than what we were expecting from what was described online. Our 2 children had their own separate bedroom. Parking in the hotel car park was easy. The hotel was right opposite the beach, and about 10-15 mins walk to the centre of Zandvoort.
