Zandvoort was a good base with shops and restaurants. We visited the Circuit Park. We also enjoyed visiting Leiden by train and Kinderdijk UNESCO World Heritage site by car. Great location, lovely quiet town but has a few lively bars open until 3am if you want that. Stunning beach and great beach bars and restaurants. 15 mins on train to Haarlem and 30 mins on train to Amsterdam. Excellent location for families with wonderful amenities in the local town which is a 15 min walk. The beach is a 5 min walk, we went in December and this would be amazing in the summer months. It was very clean and comfortable and the children were able to stay on the bed/pull-out bed with no problem. The location is excellent. Extremely close to Zandvoort Beach. The on-site parking was super convenient. The hosts were very responsive and left thoughtful welcome gifts at the property--including juice for the children.
