Its a place which has lots of amazing things to do, every corner has a picture perfect view. In the beginning you might feel that 2-3 days are enough but I think you at least need 5 days. Good place to stay, we went to flam and Odda. Going and coming back from Odda was little bit hectic because it was raining heavily, the roads are very small, there are some places where there is only one lane, no two vehicles will fit. so be careful at such road. The nature is amazing, flam station has good food stall, I guess all major street foods.Guest review byPritamIndia - 10.0

Aurland is a beautiful and peaceful place with breathtaking scenery all around. The fjord views are unforgettable, and the surrounding mountains make it feel truly magical. Wonderful location to celebrate holidays through out the year . Fjords and hike added extra value to the journey . There is a lot to do and view at the place . There is a small supermarket called coop next to the flam station which is helpful to buy necessary items . There are 2 coffee shops at the bus station at Flam . I would not depend on restaurants at Aurland . Flam is only 15 minutes away by car from Aurland, so , it will be a better idea to have food or buy food stuff from Flam ,especially because restaurants are closed after 5-6 in the evening at Aurland in Winter . They say, restaurants are open for longer time during summer . Only problem is public transport . There is not enough public transport facility between Flam and Aurland ,so we had to rely on local taxi services . Great location with a fantastic view on the fjord, away from the hustle and bustle of Flam, however, can be slightly tricky to get around, although you just need to book onto the shuttle bus for a small fee in reality, so it's not that big of a deal.Guest review byGary HiggsUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Aurland was super pretty.
Aurland was super pretty. Definitely happy then we didn't stay at Flam, the view and town was amazing. There is a fun steep hike to take with a nice cottage along the way. Even though the weather was pretty rainy, we enjoy our stay with a cozy atmospheric mood. Only difficulty was the bus ride from Flam to Aurland, because we weren't sure from where the bus is going and then it came late, so that was a bit stressful. Also we definitely recommend the little Flam bakeri with delicious cinnamon buns!Guest review byŠárkaCzech Republic

The location is one of the best - serene and tranquil. There is a close bus stop however, the bus runs only on weekdays. We reached there by taxi from Aurland Kai. We stayed in budget cabin and it had almost everything one can ask for. Great kitchen equipments, cozy bed, strong room heater, nice outside, good wifi, flowing river outside.
