The location is wonderful and the owner is really kind. The house was neat and heated and had everything you wish for. There were even games to play with. We arrived during a snow storm. When we woke up, the view was amazing with the snow and the sea.

The location was perfect for surfing and everything was comfortable. I could see the ocean from my room! There was a lot of space in the single room to dry and hang my clothes and I could also dry my wetsuit and boots outside. I was pleasantly surprised. Staff were super friendly and helpful and the selection of surfboards was excellent.

We felt very welcome from arrival, to our departure. The hosts were exceptionally kind, the entire place was luxurious, homely, and modern - but traditionally Scandinavian. An extensive and quality breakfast, including eggs fresh from their own chickens - which left us full enough for an entire day of hiking. We definitely will visit again, if our travels bring us to Lofoten another time. Thank you to both hosts for your accommodating nature! Til vi ses igen!

Where to start. We have saw one document long time a go about this place at it has been my dream to visit this extremely unique spot. It was more then I expected. You feel you are in soul of nature. Fantastic,friendly and super nice staff give us straight big welcome,we order pizza and taste was super. We stayed room with jacuzzi and sauna, evening sunset melt our hearts. We walked to the beach, climbed up to mountain. This place is something everyone should experience once in a life time. Experience what we will never forget! This place you feel like home thanks to people who created this together

We had a very nice welcoming from the owner. The house is indeed very cozy, a mix from Grandma's House (but only the good stuff) and a bit of modern stuff from IKEA which creates a comfortable and kind of familiar retro feeling. If we are ever close to leknes again, we probably coming back there. Best wishes to the owner!

Amazing cabin with beautiful view that is absolutely worth...

Amazing cabin with beautiful view that is absolutely worth its price. Very close to Unstad, so perfect if you wanna go surf there! Only in the bathroom one had to be very careful with the shower that is a bit fragile.

No roman ruins, jazz festivals or safari (that we know) ! Booking's questionaire misses the point entirely. But this is a charming house to do hiking, sea kayaking and visiting baffling landscapes from (and Nordic skiing in winter), and of course visiting the Viking museum which should not be missed. We had all our meals in the house.

This little house by the lake is fantastic. We loved our stay. The setting is idyllic. The kitchen is very well equipped. And to top it all off, we saw the Northern Lights every night.

Well located, roughly in the middle of the Lofoten Islands (1.5 hours from Reine, 45 minutes from Svolvær, 20 minutes from Leknes). As a photographer, it's ideally situated within easy reach of many beautiful viewpoints, hiking trailheads, and beaches with wide, unobstructed views, perfect for viewing the Northern Lights, such as Eggum.

The ambiance and decor are great, the spaces are spacious, there are activities available, and the prices are reasonable compared to other hotels. On the downside, you should book a room facing the mountains and not the road, as you can hear the road noise.
