Great cabin in the forest! The cabin has been renovated nicely so still has log cabin features but modern kitchen and bathroom plus modern TV making it very comfortable if the weather is not so good outdoors.
Handy location with only 10mins drive to Hellesylt where you can catch ferry to Geiranger. There are also plenty of nice walks in the surrounding hills which the host Kim Andre was very kind to tell us about.
Would definitely stay again:)

This hostel is beautifully situated on the hill , over Hellesylt, with gorgeous view of the fjord's.
Parking is by the hostel.
There's a kitchen , fully equipped, spacy and with view.
We have had a double room with private bath and it had even own entry from the terrace.
The owner is very friendly and helpful.
There are kayaks for rent.
Fair price-performance ratio.

Superb view from balcony on the fjord.
Hotel has a sharm of travels and adventures of 70s.
Room is minimalistic but clean and has heater in case of cold.
Breakfast fare and tasty.

Location, convenient to catch the ferry to geiranger and to norangdalen to union hotel Oye for dinner. The view from the balcony was beautiful.
