    This hotel is everything you hope to find up a mountain! We had a wonderful time, in a place that we feel deserves more stars than are given on google and booking. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, well equipped, clean and had a balcony with lovely view on the mountains and river. The hotel has a small dinercard, everything we tasted was well prepared and tasteful. There is an amazing choice during breakfast and for a small extra amount you can prepare your own packed lunch.

    We really appreciated the well-equipped shared kitchen at Jostedal Camping, which offered a great view of the river right outside the window. The shared bathrooms were excellent, with lovely showers providing great water pressure and a consistently nice and hot temperature. Great central location for exploring glaciers.

    The staff were great and nice. Rooms were comfortable and with large space. Atmosphere is of a travelers hotel, we loved it. Locations is perfect for next day glacier tour (or end of day) 5 minutes from the glacier tourist center.

    Amazing location close to the river and the Jostedal glacier. We used it as a base for a guided tour of the glacier and kayaking trip. Really enjoyed relaxing by the river in the evening.
