It was amazing! The view from the rooms is breathtaking. It felt as if I lived in a fairy tail!! The architecture os the building is very intersting. The staff is extremely polite. The breakfast is .... a super production! Very very rich and of high quality. One of the best hotels I've been (and I travel a lot). Strongly reccomended.

Many things, the lady at receprion very nice and helpful, the room very cozy with everything you need, the location excellent, you have the cruises and buses for tour in front of your room. I had two sides to the streets view, when I arrive in the afternoon there was no building facing my room. The morning after there was a 15 storey building? No! It was the MSC Preziosa! The restaurant was beautiful, I had breakfast and choices were unlimited, not only for food but space. You could find table for one or group and areas that are more private than others. Besides, you are allowed to keep your luggage at reception after checking out.

The house is in a great location. For taller people it is a great reminder that shorter people used to live here in the past :) Janicke was the best and kindest host during our almost month long trip through Norway. Very, very nice in personal communication. She gave us lots of tips for the area. We were sorry that we had so little time in this area. We would love to come back for a longer stay.

We stayed here on our way to the Atlanterhavsveien. The friendly hostess welcomed us warmly. We stayed in a cozy and warm little room with a private bathroom. The room had everything we needed. Everything was very clean. I would love to stay here again. Wishing the hostess all the best!

My main reason for visiting Molde was to explore the mountain trails, and it did not disappoint. The scenery was stunning, and even the light drizzle couldn’t spoil the experience. I’ll save the open-air museum for my next visit!

Molde is at the western coast of Norway.

Molde is at the western coast of Norway. There is plenty of rainy weather, but when the sun shines, there is hardly a better place to visit. The stunning beauty of the mountains across the fiord is absolutely magnificent. There are nice hotels, but the prices are quite high to be a city of the size of less than 30K citizens. Maybe the cost-level reflects the history of tourism when the royal families from different nations of Europe frequented this part of Norway. You will find friendly staff at all places, but you could also pop into those who might take you as a visitor for granted. Maybe if you smile, you could get somebody smiling back to you.

A beautiful city in Norway.

A beautiful city in Norway. We drove around all the small towns and did the 'James Bond' spectacular Atlantic Road drive. It was worth driving from Bergen and taking magnificent pictures along the way.

Was out on a pole hunt and got the city map and the mark with us. Very good, We spent some time at the cafe/bakery "fole godt" for lunch. It was a very good place. Dinner was overpriced sausages out at Årø airport. Probably the worst offer in and around the city

A wonderful seaside town with clean streets and well-kept...

A wonderful seaside town with clean streets and well-kept houses. The mountains in the background provide inspiration and the people appeared friendly and welcoming! While you drink a refreshing beer, the cruise ship leaves Molde harbor.

If you're arriving by car, parking is really easy.

If you're arriving by car, parking is really easy. You should download EasyPark, as it's the most common paid parking system in Norway. Molde is a very pretty city, any time of year. There's so much to see and do from Molde, such as Ålesund, Åndelsnes, Kristiansund, etc.

this hotel was one of the best places we stayed in during this years trip in norway. the staff was supper friendly and supportive. the restaurant and the food are amazing and you wouldnt expect it at this location. in combination with a fjord view room it is definitely a good place to stay for a few days and just enjoy the norwegian culture and cuisine.

Good option for one night stay in Molde with a nice view, overall rather average hotel. Rooms seem recently renovated, however at more basic standard. No garderob, no desk, bo fridge. The room is nice, but is missing some parts. Good breakfast in Scandic standard. Parking with a reasonable fee on site.
