The amazing location !! Just off the main highway.E10 that connects you thru Lofoten. You couldn't be better located to locations around and the cute cabin stands alone with amazing surroundings and incredible views from all rooms! Tastefully decorated with the host having take care to ensure all kitchen and wash amenities were well stocked and provided for . Simply loved the washroom with the large bathtub ! Will surely recommend to family and friends and wil look forward to l stay again if we are back here !

We had a perfect stay here. The owners are very friendly, open, kind, and communicative people. The house is very well equipped. The salon and kitchen are very big, so as a group of 8 adults we still felt confortable. We really liked many details like old photos of the house or its surrounding. The terrace was a perfect spot for breakfasts and late suppers during midnight sun. The grass around the house is very well-maintained and is surrounded by a meadow with beautiful wild flowers. Parking easily fits 3 big cars. There are also 2 bathrooms with one shower each and 2 separate toilets, which allowed our big group to take care of ourselves after hiking real quick. The views from the apartment (any direction you look) are beautiful. The location is close enough to more touristic western part of Lofoten and very close to area of Leknes - perfect for us as we were visiting both classic and less known hikes. To sum up, I definately recommend!

I am absolutely in love with this hostel, it is a gem on the islands! It has a unique design style and all the amenities one might need: several cozy common areas, including a living room, a reading room and a dining room, plus a café/restaurant (it is closed during the low season but I'm sure it's great during peak season), a kitchen, a laundry room, a dry room and a sauna (not free, but a great option to have). The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. During my stay I met many other travellers and had the best time! It is a great base to visit Lofoten and despite not having a car I managed to explore the islands by bus, with other guests and by hitchhiking. The lakefront is beautiful and the path around the lake is lovely. Apparently it's also a good spot to see moose, 'cause I saw one yesterday nibbling tree buds around the building and a member of the staff said it was the fourth in 5 days :) so all in all, extremely recommended for a great stay!

We felt very welcome from arrival, to our departure. The hosts were exceptionally kind, the entire place was luxurious, homely, and modern - but traditionally Scandinavian. An extensive and quality breakfast, including eggs fresh from their own chickens - which left us full enough for an entire day of hiking. We definitely will visit again, if our travels bring us to Lofoten another time. Thank you to both hosts for your accommodating nature! Til vi ses igen!
