Very picturesque island, two days is more than enough to...

Very picturesque island, two days is more than enough to explore it. Sunshine is a rarity. End of season mid August. Place for camper vans to park. One shop and one cafe. You can buy only beer in a shop, no alcohol. For a harder spirits you need to travel to Tromso. Bring your food if you can, shops sells very simple and not very good staff. More or less decent meal you can have in an arctic hotel, which is pricey and just ok, no more, choice is limited.

The hotel was very welcoming and more modern than I had expected. The buffet dinner served on New Years Eve was fabulous, and the breakfast smoothies perfect. The staff were all so nice and very helpful. The rooms were basic but clean and comfortable, free tea and coffee in the foyer. We used the sauna which was nice, but not the hot tub as this needed to be booked in advance.

Located right on a beach in Sommarøy. The Host Olivier was a great host and great company if your looking for it. It is a well organised community lodge with great facilities everything you need. I would love to come back again!

Location was great. We stayed in one of the sea houses. Very comfortable and warm. Very short walk to the main hotel complex. Gym is small but functional. Sauna was good. Food was very nice.

It is a nice, clean, and cozy hotel. The location is beautiful. The breakfast was probably the best in our week-long trip. We would definitely come back.
