Beautiful location, wonderful people. Tranquil and relaxing. Made us feel at home and they were in no rush for us to leave, even making coffee long after the leaving time.

The camp was outstanding. Great location, peaceful environment. We enjoyed a campfire and a sauna in the evening. All facilities are in excellent condition and the cabin itself is warm and very cozy. There is clean drinking water on site and it's easy to make friends with the neighbors in the other 2 cabins if you're so inclined. Will definitely come again if in the region.

The cabins are located right on the shore of the lake. The view is magical. Everything is very clean and very beautiful. The beds and mattresses are very comfortable. The cabin is equipped with everything you need. The host, Thor, is a special person who really cares that we feel the best possible. I have never met such an exemplary host. Highly recommended.

The place is amazing, beautiful view, Iris is very nice host always helpful. We loved how isolated the place is. You have to count with not having any shops or restaurants close by in the winter. We cooked our meals. During summer there is a restaurant 10 min by car. Shop is 15-20 min away, petrol as well. We enjoyed the fireplace, view, walks in the surrounding area. The place is breath taking. The owner Iris is a very nice person who is always there for you if you need anything. We will definitely go back in the summer.

This is the only hotel around, do not expect to get the same hotel experience like in Trondheim, for example. Sunndalsøra is a small town, and the hotel is located at the heart of it. - I booked 2 double room, with 1 extra bed on a room for my daughter, both rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. We stayed just for 1 night but it was a great experience. The bed is comfortable, there's a TV with local Norwegian channels, and there is a fridge if you need one. - The scenery around the city is amazing, especially if you are not from Norway. If you use public transportation, the bus stop is right next to the hotel. There's also a taxi office near the hotel and bus stop if you need one. - The breakfast is great, there are options and their serving is generous. You also have free tea and coffee corner near the reception. - Wifi speed is fast, you can work in your room without hitch. - You can also keep your baggage in the hotel if you checked out before your bus/transport arrives.

Cabin by the Fjord is a recently renovated holiday home in Øksendalsøra, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace.
