Very clean and modern apartment with spacious rooms. You can see a small view of the fjord from the living room, through the garden and trees (if the weather cooperates). Very comfortable bed with nice bedding. Underfloor heating everywhere (we didn’t need it as it was warm enough without any heating). The heat-recovery ventilation system with adjustable temperature also helps to keep the air fresh and comfortable inside (note: it’s not an air conditioner). There is a separate laundry room with a washer, dryer, and drying rack. The kitchen only has a big fridge, but there is a chest freezer in the utility room. Huge kitchen with good appliances. We only cook simple meals on holiday so it was more than enough. Quiet. We heard a few barks from the huskies and a few footsteps from upstairs but nowhere near enough to be bothersome. Good wifi and a cozy couch corner for the rainy days. We met the owner for check-in and he showed us around the apartment. There is a key code for entry so there’s no hassle with handing over the keys when checking out. Great location in the countryside, close enough to plenty of attractions (assuming you have a car).

Special location! Look over the fjord, and this is the main motivation we choose it. The facility is pretty good, and outside BBQ facility is a bonus. My son likes it very much. The only thing is that the sofa bed is a bit small for my 13 years old, but overall highly recommend especially for two people.

We stayed in a self-catering cottage next to the hotel . The cottage was well equipped, clean, and there was lots of space. We have a 3 week trip, and sometimes you want to eat your own choice of food. There was a supermarket nearby what was really nice.

From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed by warm lights and heating already on, which, after a six-hour drive at the start of the Norwegian autumn, feels absolutely wonderful. The price is also excellent compared to what’s usually available across Norway, great value for what you get. The owner was very friendly and communicative, always quick to respond to our questions. Everything is very clean and the kitchen is fully equipped, there is a working oven, stove and a big fridge. You can even bake a cake using the mixer and bowls you find! The washer and drier also come very handy.
