I was fully satisfied with my stay for one night here. Helpful and friendly staff, room was comfortable with clean facilities, very quiet. Parking lot had plenty of space. Tasty and well-served breakfast. Nice views outside, a restaurant just nearby. Living room has a piece of a real history. Great place to stay! Thank you!

The hotel is one of the best we visited. The staff, the views, the food, the jacuzzi etc. was AMAZING! I really recommend visiting the three-course-viking dinner aswell where Olé (One of the owners) has a great preformance. The hotel is nicely located allowing you to take daytrips to Geiranger, Valldal and stordal and much more. We cannot recommend this hotel enough!! 5/5 stars.

One of those exceptional places where you instantly feel at home and wish you'd booked an extra night. This guesthouse has all the grandeur and comfort you would expect when travelling a 100 years ago: from staff who carry your bags to your room, give you an introduction to the hotel and amenities available, to the lovely dinner and breakfast we enjoyed. It was all wonderful!

Everything was perfect! Very clean and comfortable apartment with everything you need. Beautiful surroundings with mountain landscape. Easy to visit Geiranger, Trollstigen and Ålesund from there.

In every review there should be something positive and something negative. So, let’s get the negative out of the way first: the only thing we found unpleasant in this house was, that we only stayed for one night! Now the positive(s !!): Friendliness of the hostess 11 out of 10. Facilities and standard of the house excellent!!! Everything is freshly renovated and the standard is way… way above average, putting it modestly. To put this review in perspective we stayed in several 4 & 5 star hotels during our road trip throughout Norway, this is better - 5-star superior in our opinion! You can park the car figuratively in the front door! Only 1 meter! The highlight is the newly build, spacious terrace with a view which is so fabulous that it makes you forget time. One thing you should bring with you for this terrace is a sturdy supply of wine, red or white is up to you ;-) Fazit: We enjoyed our stopover tremendously!!!

Here is the criteria we use when reviewing a property. Kitchen - it was good. Shower - the best we have had this trip (from about 12). Comfort - excellent. Instructions/communication - excellent. The two bonuses were the stunning view and the quiet when inside.
