Very comfortable wonderful lodge. It is an ‘institution’ in the safari sector of Nepal and deservedly so. The management (BC), staff and guides (Bhim in particular) are all incredible, nothing is too much trouble.

I had a great stay! The guides make their best to meet your fauna & flora watching interests. The food is good, the room is simple but comfortable, and Sonja is a great host. She provides all the assistance you need before and during the stay. If you wanna a nice safari or jungle walk experience in Bardiya, or just a relaxing time in the countryside, go for Bardia Homestay! Highly recommended

We would get freshly prepared local Nepali food which was absolutely delicious! They have a wide selection of authentic local food to choose from. If you're in the right season, you can also get to try some fresh local honey! The location of the homestay is great, it is very close to the entrance of the national park. We had a great stay here, and had some incredible wildlife sightings (Rhinos, elephants, tigers, hornbills) thanks to the sharp eyes of Tek Bahadur (fondly called Pappu). Will definitely come to visit again!

10/10 stay! We had such a lovely time at this resort. The facilities were very clean and comfortable - really great value. The gardens and terrace were so so nice to sit out and relax, read, or play cards. The food was always delicous. We also really enjoyed the sunrise from the deck! The location was perfect. Only 5 minutes from the park entrance. But my favourite was the riverfront spot to watch the sunset. We actually saw 3 tigers on our first day here only a 15 minute walk from the resort! Amazing!! Anil was very welcoming and available to assist at any time and was very pleasant to deal with. He arranged for a jeep safari into the jungle which we loved as well as a night in a treehouse in the jungle - super cool! We stayed for a week but wish we had longer.

After a long bus drive we were warmly welcomed by the family at Mr. B’s place. We stayed for 3 nights and did a walking safari and two jeep safaris and were lucky to see both tigers and rhinos. Mr. B’s son is the most talented guide we’ve experienced on our trip. Throughout the safari tours he would explain what he was looking and listening for so you always felt like part of the safari from beginning to end. The safaris themselves are worth the stay at Mr. B place and they also charge very fairly for the stay and the safaris. The family were very helpful helping us getting a bus to Pokhara wich completed the stay completely. We had the most amazing and would totally recommend! Sincerely two danish girls

I had a very nice stay at wildplanet eco Retreat prakash and baba (the owner ) took care of me very well from the very beginning I did jungle walking tour with prakash (if you wanna have a good jungle experience ask baba and prakash as they has good English and knows the jungle well Everything was great at this home amazing staff that is friendly and makes customers feel welcome. Highly recommended tree house in the jungle.
