An isolated village where you can find peace and views of the Himalayas with cobbled paths, flowers, fruit trees, goats and where they even produce their own delicious honey. The few inhabitants of the village are very friendly and respectful. We stayed there with our 3 year old daughter and 1 year old son and they took care of us with everything we needed and even the kids were able to help with easy and fun day to day tasks. The houses you stay in are a gem and restored and decorated with great taste. The host is a charming retired Sherpa who makes you feel right at home. The meals are generous and very tasty. From the main H04 road (Prithvi Highway that connects Kathmandu to Pokhara) you have to detour 25km to Riepe and it is well worth it. On the way to Pokhara we stayed in Bandipur, but on the way back we were lucky to stay in the small village of Riepe to be able to live with the day-to-day life of a self-sufficient village.

Amazing place, a must stay when you are in Bandipur. Beautiful clean room with a spacious bathroom. The owner Mrs. Sashi and the staff were the nicest people and we really enjoyed staying at her place and talking with her. She also was able to prolong our stay at the last moment as well as help us with our laundry. She has also cooked for us delicious momos and other local dishes. When we are back in Bandipur we will be staying at her place again!

Amina and her family are the nicest people . They will go out of their way to make you confortable . The rooms are spotless. The hotel is close to the bazar but far away enough so that it is very calm. They give good advice for short treks and transportation for your next stop. I really enjoyed my time here. If I come back this way, I will stay at hotel Garangja!

Beautiful and very comfortable room overlooking the Thani Mai. The Hotel is right in the middle of major temples in Bandipur. The owner is super kind and responsive. I asked for fruits at night and it was delivered to my room. Hot water was available 24/7. There were no power cuts. Breakfast was freshly made and delicious. Highly recommended!
