We stayed here for 4 nights in April 2023 and absolutely loved it. The setting for the hotel is incredible, perched on the side of a mountain with a river gorge at the bottom and is very modern and more luxurious than most in Nepal. It took us about 3.5 hours to get to the hotel by taxi from Kathmandu and the road was surprisingly good until the last 13km where the tarmac ended and it was more of a gravel track. There are no ATMs near the hotel so make sure you get any cash you might need at Bahrabise and be aware that like in most hotels in Nepal, you can’t use Mastercard, only Visa. Our room was really lovely with a stunning view from our balcony and a spacious rainfall shower. They are still in the process of completing the upper stories of the hotel so there was some construction noise but it didn’t spoil our stay. The pool was not heated so was pretty chilly but the jacuzzi was nice and hot so we spent a lot of time in there with occasional plunges in the pool to cool down. We were served drinks and snacks at the poolside so felt very pampered! The staff here were really great and the service was excellent. Raju & Nisma in the restaurant took great care of us and were incredibly courteous and polite, obviously having been very well trained. The food and drink was very good and not a bad price either and the included breakfast was delicious and cooked to order most days. Shrawan on reception was also very attentive and helped organise and accompanied us on a trip to the Chinese border, Tatopani hot springs and Duguna Gadhi, an old Tibetan fort on top of a nearby mountain. The rest of the time we spent relaxing at the hotel, taking in the stunning views or exploring the surrounding area and its wildlife. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again!

I really loved very comfortable bed and soft blanket, hot water in a shower and silent peaceful nights and days. And the family staff was really very friendly and helpful, they gave me a lift to the bus and we had a nice talk. The Tibetan bread, banana porridge and lemon tea was nice, the same other meals - curry with rice and so on. Nice place to relax. Thank you.

Everything is Superb. Great Experience

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Green Valley Nagarkot. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring all my needs were met. The room was clean and comfortable, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The hotel's peaceful ambiance and delicious food made my experience truly enjoyable.
